I wouldn’t mind so much if someone stole the paw paws. I don’t like to see them go to waste, and they produce so many (at least our trees have) that we can’t possibly eat them all within their shelf life.

That being said: around here, if you steal someone’s ginseng root — I’ll post about that soon— well, you should hope you don’t get caught by the landowner. Ginseng is very, very valuable in these hills.
