It sounds like you’re no stranger to independent thought, congratulations on joining that party. We’re at least lucky in being able to choose which primary to vote in at the door. The Republican Party has been headed in this direction since Nixon’s second run for president in ’68, most just didn’t believe it. They haven’t been all bad, or done all bad things, but the drift has been there.
