So you’re asking the Bills to overpay for Kawann Short’s services and tie up a ridiculous amount of cap space to one position (defensive tackle)?

Doesn’t sound like good advice to me.

Oh, okay, the backup plan: Draft a DT that replicates Short’s abilities … um … they already did: Adolphus Washington, 2016, Rd 3, 80th overall pick, Ohio St — practically a Kawann Short clone. It’s just strange to me that you’re asking the same man that drafted Washington to go ahead and draft another guy like Washington a year later. That doesn’t sound like a productive offseason strategy to me.

I like Mike and I respect his background, but I’m not buying what he’s selling here. Good read, though.
