We are so excited to announce that Mr. Brown Project has received a development grant from the NEAR Foundation.
The project is a one-of-a-kind art collection of 4,200 portraits that present the range of Mr. Brown’s imagined identities. Brown is a lonely middle-aged gentleman who worked his entire life as an insurance clerk, but his imagination showcases the incredible and eventful lives his alter egos are living. Each piece is a unique, non-fungible token (NFT) on the Near Protocol blockchain composed of a collection of 200+ total unique hand-drawn traits.
We are thrilled to receive the backing of the NEAR Foundation, which will greatly assist us with onboarding more users and NFT collectors to the NEAR Ecosystem. It will help us advance toward the creation of Mr. Brown clothing line, expansion into physical art for the collectors, and reward-sharing game development through BrownDAO. The grant will open opportunities for more partnership and will bring additional exposure to Mr. Brown's brand and Near Protocol.
