I agree with this. In the case of an Ivy League TCR, it is in the interest of the Ivy League members to challenge and not allow any other university to be added to the list, even if those new universities are ‘ivy league’ quality. The value they receive from being in the ‘ivy league’ may far outweigh the value of the TCR token, so they won’t necessarily care about the accuracy of the TCR (and the tokens value), only that no one else can be added. You essentially create a private club where signaling membership is more valuable than increasing new members.
