The End of Empathy

I’d just like to thank you for putting this up for us. It takes a great deal of courage, to be able to be forward about things like this. I find that it’s hard to empathize with people once they put up a wall in front of them that desensitizes them to a lot of the grief in the world. The fact of the matter is, it’s much easier to pass an opinion without being in front of a person. They feel that the repercussions aren’t as severe.

In reality however, the digital frontier has really got us thinking about the lack of real human interactions. In today’s day and age, we are too quick to judge, and react.

My father constantly spoke of the fact that when you die, you only live through your character and reputation. And the truth is, the only thing that matters is how you remember him. Nothing more.

Stay strong.
