H1B visas and Mexico Wall

The two news Mexico Wall and H1B visas which came into news portal, and new President Donald Trump’s speech is very much alarming to the entire world.

Let’s see what was the version of Trump and the members of his transition team have said so far on H1B visas issue.

# “It’s simply wrong to think that we’re in a totally open world and that any American with a job can be replaced if somebody in the world is willing to take a job for less pay.”

# “In order for America to lead again, we need to ensure we can retain, the world’s best and brightest talent. At the same time, we also need to make sure programs are not abused to allow companies to outsource and hire cheap foreign labor from abroad to replace American workers.”

# “Curbing abuse of the H1B system will protect American jobs and help ensure that visas are available for innovators who need them to maintain a competitive workforce. This bipartisan bill makes one of the much-needed updates to our high-skilled visa system to level the playing field and help prevent companies from taking advantage of the system to offshore jobs.”

# “We still fight to protect every last American life. During the campaign I also spent time with American workers who were laid off and forced to train. The foreign workers brought in to replace them. We won’t let this happen anymore.”

Though I am not American and never visited in America but initially my reaction on these statement is, Trump has elected by young generation who want job — the same incidence has happened in India in the year 2014, when Modi was elected as a Prime Minister capturing only 31% vote. So, in democracy we know majority’s voice is granted but without ignoring minority’s voice.

While an entire country some split part of people’s voice advocate in favour of good things and defy of bad things, any committee should adhere that minutely and should make the pragmatic prudent decision. Transition — what transition! Providing job to unemployed is not a transition, because getting a job in any country for their own citizen/native is a fundamental human right. Here bad arguments carrying jingo sentiment is meaningless and absolute imprudent so far.

Eventually it harms economy in its own soil.
