How to Resize a Photo/Image for Your Website

If your website designed with the Drupal platform and you have Firefox browser in your system, then you have to follow 3 simple steps to know the exact size of the image.
● Open the website in the browser, do the right click on the image.
● Select the option view image, this option will open the image in the new tab automatically.
● In the place of the url, then file type and the size both are visible, note down the size and resize photo online or with software as per requirement.
Do you know, how many file types of images have? Let have a look for the making your work easier.
● PNG- This file type is used for the transparent background; you can use this format if you are uploading or creating the logo and transparent image.
● JPG (JPEG)- This the most used images type, in this file format background is not transparent.

1. Adobe Photoshop-
Adobe Photoshop, the big name for photo editing, creating and cropping, a commercial software, also a more straightforward tool for image resizing and cropping.
Here follow the image resizing steps and do the required changes-
● Open Photoshop and click on File>>Open and select the image you want to resize.
● Now go to Image>>image size
● A dialog box opens “image size” mentioned in the top bar of that box.
● Select the pixels size, in which you want to resize the image.
● Before clicking ok, better to see the resampling option, below the dialog box. There is two option their bicubic and bicubic similar, this option will help to give better image quality when enlarging image.
● Then click OK and accept the changes. Save the image.
You can also reduce image to 50kb, from the same option image>>image size.
2. Web Resizer-
Web resizer a free tool for the resize photo online. You can also crop and reduce image size in kb online by using this tool. You don’t need to download any software for using this tool, just upload your image and do the changes.
● To resize the image you have to change the numbers in the text box of the new size.
● To crop the image, there is an option of cropping the image, below image upload image.

● Then Go to the File option and select the option “Export picture to folders”.
● Then, Choose the location on your PC, where you want to save your resize jpg image online.
● In the image size, choose the resize to and then enter the pixels of the images you want.
