Apple’s 3D Touch released with iOS9

With 3D touch, Apple have done it again. We weren’t as excited this time around as we had been in the past about the launch of the next line of Apple products. We thought we’d seen it all, thinking ‘what else can they do?’. You only have to do a Google Search to see what was being written about them pre-release, the stock exchange took notice, shaving 460 Billion of Apple’s market value.

This brings a major shift in digital interaction that until recently, wasn’t possible. Apple’s Chief Design Officer Jony Ive describes it as “how hardware and software developed together can work to define a singular experience”.
