What Does Pi Teach Us About The Trinity of God?

What’s the point? Even before the point, The Lord is Triune in One. The Holy Trinity. Father, Son & Holy Spirit. Using Pi as a mathematical fact I would like to make an observation about creation and inference about our divine creator. The signs are everywhere, we just have to look. So in this case I am using a well established, extremely useful, heavenly and earthly tool.
“Pi is a name given to the ratio of the circumference of a circle to the diameter. That means, for any circle, you can divide the circumference (the distance around the circle) by the diameter and always get exactly the same number. It doesn’t matter how big or small the circle is, Pi remains the same.” [1]
This shows us that the size of the circle does NOT change the nature of Pi. This is a great lesson for so many reason but the one I would like to draw your attention to is found in the Bible, Luke starting 12:47:
47 ‘The servant who knows what his master wants, but has got nothing ready and done nothing in accord with those wishes, will be given a great many strokes of the lash.
So… embedded in the mathematical fact of Pi, the ratio being the same no matter the scale, God reveals to us, in the language of mathematics, how he divinely measures all things, including us. The Lord stays the same in relation to the greatness or smallness of creation, at any scale. Pi reveals The Lord’s nature to us. He has everything surrounded (circumference), goes straight through the central point (diameter) and is infinite, boundless and limitless.(3.1415926535897932384626433…)
Analogy:
Lord God Father Almighty — He has everything surrounded (circumference)
Lord Jesus Christ — Goes straight through the central point (diameter)
Lord Holy Spirit — Is infinite, boundless and limitless. (ratio) 3.1415926535897932384626433…
The relationship between 1. The Father Almighty & 2. The Son is always the same, infinitely, perfectly and in relation to all things as witnessed by 3. The Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 2:10. For to us God revealed them through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the depths of God.
God is like a Math teacher, He doesn’t just want the right answer, he wants us to show our work!
The Lord stays the same, it is we who change. God is infinitely holy, divinely just and needs no advice. Now of course the Trinity is so much more than this. I am simply stating an example of the nature of God revealed in one case, Pi. There is no way to humanly explain the incomprehensible depths of God, we can however rely on the truth. God is the truth, the light and the way.
The Lord is the best teacher and uses all of creation to teach us. The universe is our classroom, and hidden in plain sight are not just clues but God himself. In closing I will leave you with Isaiah 55:8
8 for my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways, declares Yahweh.
9 For the heavens are as high above earth as my ways are above your ways, my thoughts above your thoughts.
10 For, as the rain and the snow come down from the sky and do not return before having watered the earth, fertilising it and making it germinate to provide seed for the sower and food to eat,
11 so it is with the word that goes from my mouth: it will not return to me unfulfilled or before having carried out my good pleasure and having achieved what it was sent to do.
Amen
