Men Need to SHARE the Burden of Birth Control
So there’s a male birth control solution that’s 96% effective, but it was scrapped because just 20 men out of a study of 320 couldn’t handle the side effects.
Those side effects included acne, muscle pain and sadness…basically the same side effects that women have to deal with.
Quite frankly, I can’t think of a better birth control solution than having two people covered in zits, in pain and not in the mood for sex.
But seriously, instead of proceeded with this, researchers are now going to spend millions trying to reduce the side effects, all because of a small minority of men.
That’s like 94% of the country voting for one great leader, but then allowing a moose who randomly got 6% of the vote to become elected.
That’s not the most ridiculous part.
Based on current research, the side effects for men seem to be fairly limited. Whereas for decades, women have been exposed to increased risk of breast cancer, deep vein thrombosis, cervical cancer, strokes, cramps, migraines and heavy, painful or no periods. Women die from some of these side effects every day.
It’s ridiculous that women make up half of the world’s population, and yet have to bear so much more of the responsibility.
If you think that’s fair, or if you think that lawmakers, predominantly old men, have a right to control women’s sexual activity at all…
Then I just wish your parents had used birth control before having you.
