Associated Air Center redelivers A319 VVIP

Associated Air Center (AAC), Standard Aero’s Transport Category VIP completion centre in Dallas, Texas, lately redelivered an A319 VVIP aircraft cabin revamp and scheduled maintenance for a repeat, longtime Asian customer. AAC designed the new look cabin along with entertainment and seating upgrades.

The installation comprised of a new Rockwell Collins Venue cabin management and entertainment system. Ten new Precision Aircraft Components single seats with inclusive seat amenities including lumbar, heat, full electric operation and retractable armrests was also installed. The project also included the installation of a “U shaped” divan that can be operated electronically to both daybed and full queen bed positions. A further three-place divan was installed that can sleep two passengers.

Scheduled aircraft maintenance included Service Bulletins/Airworthiness Directives compliance and overhaul of the auxiliary power unit (APU).

“Our team worked very closely with this customer to select the latest technologies and materials to modernize the interior and bring the condition of this aircraft up to today’s standards for both passenger comfort, productivity and aircraft operability,” said Tony Brancato, president of AAC.
