Any judgment against people who don’t travel is so petty. I may be projecting but I think it may be some people’s way of convincing themselves that they did it right by blowing their cash (or credit) on traveling while you were getting educated and paying the bills.

Down the line, you’ve got a career and a clean slate on your finances and all they have is their badge of honor to be “well-traveled” because they dropped acid in an underground club in Madrid and met the kewlist Icelandic throuple traveling through mainline Europe in an RV powered by vegetable oil.

Not hating on all travelers since I have spent a lot (probably too much) of money in my life on international travel, but so many people use their travel experience as substitute for actually doing anything interesting the rest of their lives.
