Final Performance Update

Since 2002, I’ve analyzed and forecasted stock ideas for a select group of investors. In other words, the people that paid me to do so. With my newsletter closing down this month, I wanted to drop in the full list of ideas including the few that made 2017.

There are so many ways to manage your investments (here’s my guide) its been proven time and time again that short-term trading (1 to 3 years) in deeply discounted stocks typically beats the market — that is, 95% of other investors. Of course everyone has the story of how they bought Apple or Priceline or Amazon or Microsoft, but very very very people I’ve ever meet placed the significant portion of their capital behind these kind of long-term investments. It’s usually, “I took a flyer on bitcoin and turned $200 into $200,000” not, “instead of buying that $850,000 house, I put our down payment into bitcoin and now we’re worth $170 million.” Yet, bitcoin was a long term explosive asset just like the others, more so actually.

With that in mind, Joel Greenblatt wrote a fantastic book on picking winners and building a portfolio. No need to reinvent the wheel, just use your time to find the winners for yourself. To me you can buy a basket of 10, 20, or 30 stocks and trade them yearly (or) you can find one or two excellent stocks a year and pile all your cash flow into them and do short term arbitrage or options against them on margin (see my guide) (or) you can speculate with a portion of you money in unproven stuff like Bitcoin or cancer pill stocks and use the other cash to invest in an index fund, which has been proven to beat 90% of investors over the long term.

The following is a list of premium trade ideas that were published between 2002 through 2017. On average, my research has produced over 70% winners with a fair amount of them documenting triple digit gains.
