Do your actions match your words?

I've said so many inspirational and admireable things in my lifetime about my future plans and where I see myself, but with future plans, takes alot of consistent actions which make those dreams a reality.

We cannot simply be dreamers, we must transend the passion into becoming do’ers, surface them into reality, which yes will have us at stupid o’clock in the morning, grinding at our craft. But it’s either that or us filing the richest place in the world with more riches, the graveyard.

Are you consistently converting your words into actions? Consistency is key to achieving what you want and to becoming the person you are meant to be.

It goes from being a humble person saying you are going to work for yourself and create a legacy for yourself, to becoming that business owner who even after being worth millions or being praised by many, is still just as humble as when you first told everyone what you want in this world.

I stand here on my train home, writing this post after a long day of work because to me, this blog post is my measure of how I’m doing, as a person trying to explore my own thoughts and if I can stick to my challenges I set for myself.

Activities like writing, going gym, learning a new skill, do well in transfering into your everyday life, you get into the habit of remembering your 'why' for starting, you gain more respect for yourself and you learn to be a winner, because winners don’t quit.

So if you are currently on your own journey of self improvement in some way, stick to it for yourself, not because people are watching. It’s not about what you do when there are eyes on you, it’s about what you do behind closed doors.

And if you’re not on a journey of self improvement, what are you doing? Do you want to be in the same place in a few years? If you’re not improving, you’re not growing and if you’re not growing, then are you really living?
