How we set up the Aircall — Intercom integration

Enjoyed the article and am currently working on an Aircall/Intercom integration. It seems as if, if the user is not already registered then they must be registered as a “User” within Intercom when I’d rather them automatically be assigned to a segment or a “Lead”. Wonder if you have heard this from any other customers or what you thoughts are on this? Maybe there is a fix I am missing.
