Funny: I just read a post with the wonderful title, Why You Can’t Change People’s Minds With Facts, and this wonderful post expands on that idea, and then some.

You’ve helped explain the tremendous power of stories. They cut thru the noise and help us make decisions. And if, as you surmise, those decisions “inform our mental models of the world,” a story could ultimately have a lasting impact on our lives. Great post, thanks for sharing.
