My hands and My Parakeet

The hands that killed him , the same hands buried him .

Alone in a cage , without family and friends .

In his solace, he took us as his family .

Waited for us till late night

He knew our footsteps !

How could you recognise my footsteps on the street afar from the corner of a big house?

Oh if I knew I would have never bathed you !

Oh if I knew I wouldn’t had kept you outside in the scorching heat !

Oh I wish I could give you water!!

Water! Water! Water!

Now I just wanna satiate someone’s thirst .

Maybe, Maybe, Maybe .

It will give comfort to my heart!

Ya rabbi forgive me please I am really broke !

My parakeet.
