I’m a Creep. I’m Sorry.
Dave McClure

Please start by reading this book: https://www.feministfightclub.com/ and seeking to understand both how you may have contributed to some of these social ills in the work place and how you can undermine them in the future. And getting some male and female friends/colleagues/leaders in silicon valley to read it as well to seek to understand each others’ honest perceptions of it. Defensiveness is natural in these situations. To the extent that you can, notice when it is coming up for you, and try to take a step back from it, replacing it with curiosity, empathy and connection.

Lean In is another great read. As is this collection: http://www.refinery29.com/2017/03/142549/best-feminist-books-for-modern-women

As for movies, I highly recommend Hidden Figures and Confirmation. Becoming genuinely curious about the systems that allow/propagate inappropriate behavior toward women of any kind, the impact this has on individual women, and how you can actively deconstruct these dynamics from your position of power to prevent that impact/hurt/pain is a great place to start.
