A young girl stopped me in London

In 2006 when I was in London, it was my desire to find a decent job and stay there for at least some years. The target I had had in my mind, at time, was to reach a well-thought-of level of fluency in English language and to have a considered look at western culture. At time, the ambition of passing on the truth of Islam to English speaking people was at apex in my mind. For hunting a seemly job, I would frequently go to see one of my friend who lived in White Chapel, a district in East London which has been for a long time a neighborhood for poor and working class, now it is inhabited primarily by people from Bangladeshi origin.
One day, on the way back to Euston- where I lived in a small room built especially for me under the Islamic library- a young girl stopped me. She was a black British and wearing a long jacket. She wore a dark sunglass as well. She stopped me by saying, `hello, I want to tell you something if you don’t mind. `Is there anything wrong?’ I replied. `No, nothing was wrong, I have just wanted to tell you something about Jesus Christ, I hope you will be benefited. `Are you a missionary? I asked. `Yes, I am’. She answered. Okay, fine. Then let me tell you that I believe in Jesus (Peace be upon him) as a prophet sent by God and I am a devout follower of him. He was a human, not a God and all his crucial messages goes in line with what prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) brought form God and delivered to people . I would rather call you to embrace Islam, a religion preserved by God. The moment you will embrace Islam, you will feel that you have come to a complete harmony with the very nature that you have.
I uttered these words politely leaving no room for her to convey her message. She stood motionlessly and listened to me until I have finished. Then she said, thank you for your comment but I will request you to uncover the true love of God which you could not experience except by believing in Jesus as we do. Jesus changed my life and lit my heart, I wish the same for you, please take this leaflet and read it once you have time. Okay, I will do, but I will request in return to read a good translation of Holy Quran which will purify your believe in Jesus(peace be upon him), also give you absolute answers to all the questions that you may have in your mind. You are a good girl since you are working for your faith, however, the faith you are holding is not supported neither by holy scriptures nor by modern scientific research. On the contrary, when you will read the Quran you will be overwhelmed with its miraculous nature. You will surely feel that this is the word of God you have been ever longing for. Furthermore there is no any single contradiction between what God stated in His book and what phenomena is there in the universe. So, please try to have a copy of Quran and read earnestly once you have time. This will change your life dramatically and you will really feel better. Have a nice day.
I took my way to the rail station of White Chapel. I said in my mind,` this girl is working for her faith. She is trying to convey her message to passer-by on the street. What if we Muslim do the same to make people of other cultures aware of the ultimate truth that we preserve.’
This was in 2006 when Street-Da’wah was still to kick off. Nowadays, the situation have changed and street-Da’wah is earning souls in London, Sydney and Washington. All praise be to Allah.
