Lition partners with Fantom Foundation
We at Lition are very proud to announce that we have partnered with leading blockchain project Fantom Foundation to form a strategic technical and marketing collaboration.
Fantom, the world’s first DAG-based smart contract platform officially launched in 2018 with the aim of providing compatibility between transaction bodies worldwide. Lition and Fantom foundation will be collaborating to integrate Lition’s private sidechain technology into the Fantom mainnet blockchain to provide them with additional privacy and deletability features.
With privacy and compliance to data protection laws becoming extremely important in today’s enterprise space, Lition’s layer-2 solution will enable Fantom’s DAG blockchain to offer additional regulation-compliant privacy and deletability features to any of their current or future use-cases. The partnership allows Fantom to be fully compliant with European GDPR laws for clients in this region as well as other regions with strict data protection laws requiring deletion, such as Korea.
Meanwhile, the extraordinary scalability of the Fantom DAG mechanism allows Lition to serve high-throughput and low-latency use-cases, which are required for advanced use-cases such as Artificial Intelligence with Deep Learning Algorithms.
The strategic partnership will also see both teams working together on business development and marketing that will give Lition increased exposure to the Asian market. The teams have already worked together in different capacities for quite some time, including Lition reusing Fantom’s code base to develop a token bridge from ERC20 to BEP2.
