Day 1

We were on our way to Queenstown. We were staying there for 4days and 3 nights because Queenstown has many attractions. On the first day, we settled in our hotel room and took some rest. The second day is when the real fun started.

We were going to the Skyline Luge. Luge is a little cart where you sit in and ride around the track. It is for all ages including the little ones who are too young to ride a go cart. You simply have to pull the handle for it to move and release it for break.

To get to the Luge tracks, we first had to ride on a gondola to get to the top of a hill. The hill was called Bob’s peak and it was quite tall. The views from the gondola were quite amazing too.

The view is blurry as the glass wasn’t that clear. Once we reached the top, we got off the Gondola and headed towards the Luge. First, we had to sit in a sky lift to get to the tracks. We waited in the queue for a few minutes until we got on the Sky lift. Because of the sky lift, the attraction was called “Skyline Luge” and not just “Luge.” After that, we stood in a longer queue to get on the Luge.

The Luge was really fun. My parents and I raced each other. On the first go, I won the race and in the second go, my father did.

Once that was done, we headed to a restaurant to have lunch and then went back to the hotel. The next day, we were going to a place where we were going to fly in the air. Fly in the air? Where are we going?
