Thoughts on Kissing Strangers
Tatia Pilieva’s video takes you back to a moment in time..
The new video by first time filmmaker, Tatia Pilieva was goose-bumpy. It was sweet like sugar. It left an aftertaste. It was magical. It was revolutionary because it was captured on camera for the first time. It made me laugh. But above all, it made me smile.
What is it about kissing strangers? I guess we have all done it for the first time. Haven’t we? We kiss them as strangers, the people we like, the people we start to love. The first kiss is always as innocuous as a new born baby. It’s refreshing. It makes your heart go all gooey, as soft as a marshmallow, as tender as a rose bud.
First kiss is like a beautiful memoir. It’s like a wonderful memory that refuses to fade away. It’s like fresh ink on your delicate skin.
Pilieva’s video takes me back to my days as a young gun of 20. Yes, that’s how old I was when I let a stranger touch my lips. The hand holding, shivering bodies and an adrenaline rush, that’s what the first kiss felt like. Absolutely divine.
Thank you, Pilieva for taking me back in time. Here’s a kiss (:*) from a stranger.
