Never do tomorrow which you can do today
Eat that frog with a Pomodoro
Introduction:
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method to avoid procrastination and it is introduced by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to split the work into intervals i.e, 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are named Pomodoros.

Procedure:
1. Decide the task to be done.
2. Set the Pomodoro timer ( up to 25 minutes).
3. Work on the task.
4. End work when the timer rings and put a tick mark on a piece of paper.
5. If you have done with four tick marks, take a short break (3–5 minutes), then go to step 2.
6. After four Pomodoros, take a longer break (15–30 minutes), then again go to step 1.

Experience:
I personally did this activity today. I was in departmental library in my University. I defined a task and set the timer of 25 minutes. Then I started my activity. During that a lot of task and ideas pitch in to my mind that you have to do this, this and this… But still there is a pressure of time which was continuously rushing to zero which pushed me back to my job. Here at this stage I fought with procrastination and defeated it. Besides this there were many other distractions like friends and social media which were attracting me. Once I decided to join them and postponed my work then suddenly the timer rings. It took me back to repeat the activity again. And I again set timer and continued my work. Once again I defeated procrastination. The purpose of this story telling that this activity let me to realize the value of time.

Outcome:
The outcome which I got from this activity is;
“Give value to time which you have”
Every person has 1,440 minutes in a day. But the successful people don’t waste their time instead of they make time productive and spend it to learn and discover new things in the world.
