As humans let technology take over more things within their lives, along with increased data collection on their behavior, this should result in less conscious decisions being made, potentially resulting in path dependence being further enforced throughout humanity — is this a bad thing as creativity could suffer (less incentive to stray away from the path due to risk of sub-optimal decisions), or is the net benefit of more optimal decisions (aided by technology armed with extensive data) greater?
