Over 1.5 billion people worldwide are using Windows platform that makes it a lot easier for people to expand the world of technology.

When it comes to talk about the new operating system, initially, it codenamed as Windows Threshold, but finally it has been titled with “Metro” user interface, which Microsoft had attempted to implement on its complete range of devices from desktops PCs to tablets to Windows Phone smart-phones.

The all new OS comes with so-called live tiles that are obtainable in the areas like the new Start Menu and a more classic Windows experience, which mainly aims to please both keyboard-and-mouse and touch users.

As we all know that Windows is one such platform that is extremely popular among kids, writers, journalists, engineers, gamers, CEO and other influenced people. According to Microsoft’s executive VP of operating systems Terry Myerson, the company has decided that it would be best to skip over Windows 9, the widely expected for the next version.

At a press event here on Tuesday, Myerson said “Windows 10 will run on the broadest amount of devices. A tailored experience for each device. He also added, “There will be one way to write a universal application, one store, one way for apps to be discovered purchased and updated across all of these devices.”

The Start Menu is Back –

Yes, everyone read it correct as the Start menu is back as everyone were missing this feature in Windows 8. So, the company first announced that the Start menu is return earlier this year at Build; however, the menu button was the star of that event.

It comes to know that it will be present on both the touch devices as well as more traditional “mouse and keyboard” setups. Users can find the left column that looks similar like the traditional Windows 7 Start menu and it has most of your often using apps like Windows desktop applications and Windows Store apps.

When it comes to right column, it has customizable live tiles, and users are allowed to add any app’s life tile to that column at any time as they just need to drag it over. Moreover, apps that do not have live tile functionality will have a shortcut instead of a fully functional live tile. If you are the one, who do like the Metro look of the live tiles, you can relinquish them altogether.

One of the best things is that the Start Menu can be resized endlessly, and users are allowed to add as many live tiles as per their wish. So, Windows fans get ready to experience Windows 10 that will surely take your world in the new level and give a wonderful experience.

Snap enhancements –

With snap enhancements, you can easily have four different apps snapped on the same screen with a new quadrant layout. For extra snapping, Windows can also show some other applications and programs running. Users can also make great suggestions on filling the screen space with other open applications.

Find Files Quickly –

Users can get help in displaying their recent files as Find Files quickly can help them in displaying their recent as well as often visited files and folders.

Multiple Desktops –

For different reasons and projects, you can create desktops and switch between these desktops easily and pick-up where they left off on each desktop.

New Task with view button –

For quick switching between open files and quick access to any desktops you develop, Windows 10 users will find a new task-view button on the task bar.

Everything Runs in a Window –

All the applications from the Windows Store now open in the same format, which desktop apps for. Now, apps can be resized and moved across, and they also have title bars at the top, enabling users to maximize, minimize and close with a single click.
