Absolutely — please do! My experience is of course only my own, but I’ve been working for two years for this site and that’s been almost the only “official” rule when it comes to reporting or writing about/ for China. Mtime, the site I work for, is one of the bigger sites in China, and it is privately owned, not owned by the government, and I don’t know if we’ve ever actually been shut down by the government (since I started, anyway), but it’s a general concern and I have heard stories about other sites being shut down — although I don’t know why, fwiw.
