The Nexa of Application Management
James Urquhart

James, Although I’m no expert in this area (I’m not a scientist), I believe they are likely to stay decoupled. The PaaS and Orchestration lend themselves to being blended together and as appropriate provide APIs to the APM. The larger overall performance of the PaaS and Orchestration layer is likely to benefit from tools that focus on performance and reporting that link to lower levels of infrastructure. Having PaaS be the abstraction/collection layer for specific services needed for any given application seems key, while allowing the APM tool to be dialed specifically to a given application.
