Bye, bye Adobe.

I also ditched my full creative cloud membership, mainly because I think it’s too expensive and I only use a fraction of the full suite. Instead I now only have a Photography pack (Photoshop & Lightroom) for 9,99 a month. I just can’t do without Photoshop and Lightroom. For (interface) design I use Bohemian Coding’s Sketch 3 alongside Photoshop. To replace Illustrator I now use Serif’s Affinity Designer. To replace InDesign I’m awaiting the arrival of Affinity Publisher. If I need Premiere Pro or After Effects (I’m only using them occasionally, like a couple of times a year) I add them to my membership as I go for about 30 euros a month, which still saves me a lot of money. If I would be doing more video stuff I would probably switch to Final Cut Pro. I just felt a bit fed up with Adobe and I love to use software that challenges the status quo.
