Serious Information Pollution
I have not used social media like Facebook,Twitter recently.
That is why I did not want my ability to think down as I am always passive. Every morning, information on the public surveys headlines in Gunosy. And I read through only the things that are interesting, and I’ve been through the way to dig deep.

Then, in May, I decided to suddenly read Medium, I started reading and I came across an article on an interesting blockchain. I had difficulty in reading English since my assignment in Spain (1989), but I was able to deepen my understanding little by little.
It is truly appreciated. Therefore, my full-fledged social media is this Medium.
Well, a serious problem has come to surface with this social media. It is “information pollution.”
According to the Nikkei newspaper yesterday,
Twitter and Facebook’s US , two companies have found that after January they deleted a total of 700 million fake accounts.
“Information pollution” which fake reviews and reviews spread on the net is becoming serious.
“Like” sent by the user has become influential on the trends and the sales of goods, but if the fake information is overflowing, the mechanism will not function either. If we do not purify pollution, growth of “data economy” can also fluctuate.
A Japanese young lady talent suddenly suffered a shock as the number of followers decreased. It is a sin.
As I think, it is obvious that the realities of “Like!” and the features of the back side of the screen can not be seen, so the push side with a clear intention will induce various purchasing psychology etc. . If it deviates considerably from the actual situation, it will be misguided on the direction of marketing, which means that wasteful time and cost have been spent, but was the actual situation so?

Followers indicate the number of readers of net posts, a barometer of popularity and influence.
Twitter said “maintaining the integrity of the service” began to exclude illegal accounts, but the reduction of followers by celebrities such as US President Trump has shocked the world. The number of fake accounts deleted since May is estimated to be more than 100 million.
Face book that fake news became a problem in the 2016 presidential election also announced in May that it deleted 583 million fake accounts. The total number of production users of the two companies is a total of over 2.5 billion, a fake account equivalent to about one quarter disappears at once.

With Facebook and Twitter, Tencent, LINE as the mainstay social media, only 4 major companies in Japan, the US, and China, total sales are 9 trillion yen. Including related advertisements and applications, growth continues.

My concern is that Facebook will delete ‘fake news’ with human and AI, but the sender of fake information also uses AI. It is the same as the battle against 51% attack hacker of cryptocurrency and white hacker to protect.
It involves development of blockchain, but what happens when the age of quantum computer comes?
In any case, if they do not solve this problem on their own, I think that they will be forced to revise the future business model of social media.
What we can do is to cultivate the discrimination eyes that can see the truth.
We should be able to organize information well without using the flood of information, and use it well, to have a firm and thoughtful idea.
After all, I think that the experience value of seeing with our own eyes, and reading are increasingly important.
