O Adversary standing in the dark
You’re walking on the darker side of town
O Adversary, one who bears the mark,
the fires of Hell apparent in your crown

Is there a God who reigns in the divine
or does he hide in crevices so deep
that mighty God is just too hard to find?
So what will come of us, His humble sheep?

We need the time to start a greater plan
Forgiveness is the better part of life
Both you and I will do all that we can
to quell the children full of mortal strife

Walk hand in hand with Satan and the Lord
Put faith inside your heart where blood is stored

My name is Mark Thomas McLaughlin and I’m no more a Satanist than I am a Christian, Hindu, or Zoroastrian.

Poems on Mondays, better stuff later in the week.
