Facebook was created to conform to the superficial standards of popularity and so it does. Only our best pictures and our funniest comments remain on the surface while the rest is so forgotten as if it never existed. The tragedy is that we've started to treat social media as a substitute to personal relationships.
As if giving preference to texting over conversations wasn't bad enough I have a group of friends that talk to each other on chat, while in the same room. This is INSANE People! By maintaining the illusion of company not only are we deprived of the perks of solitude but also the virtues of genuine company. Here’s a video that makes my point way better.
