Off course the leave campaign had some reasonable arguments and each country will survive regardless but are they better off? I always thought that the UK as a union of nations is itself a microcosm of the EU and appeared to be a model of what the EU was unintentionally aspiring to become. The irony is that a repudiation of the EU may ultimately prove to be a repudiation of the UK itself. Given that stark possibility, would voters still choose to leave?
