Chapter 9: Ben’s Recollection

MC’s POV

Let’s begin with a bit of background.

The Omnitrix was developed by Azimuth of the Galvan to promote interstellar peace as an apology to his lover Zenith, after his previous invention, Ascalon, brought upon violence.

The Omnitrix could preserve over a million DNA samples, in which the user could then transform into that being.

With the genetic database larger than anything seen before, the Omnitrix could act as a back drive for the universe in case any species went extinct.

While at first the DNA was collected personally by Azimuth’s assistant Myaxx, he developed a series of worker drones known as Voliticus Biopsis. Which would then fly around the universe and collect DNA samples.

When the DNA was collected, it was then brought back to the artificially grown planet Primus, where it was stored in the Codon Stream.

The Codon Stream preserved all the Omnitrix’s DNA samples which could then be downloaded to the Omnitrix for use.

Contrary to popular belief, the Omnitrix didn’t need to be constantly synchronized to Primus in order for it to function.

Think of Primus as a computer and the Omnitrix as an iPod. After downloading music from the computer to the iPod, one could then disconnect them and continue listening to said music on the iPod without any type of connection to the computer.

The Omnitrix could store an inconceivable variety of DNA samples.

From Organic, Inorganic, Cosmic and even Multi-dimensional.

However the samples must be from a species that had a certain level of intellectual sapience.

From Earth, the Omnitrix could have Human, Dolphin and Mouse DNA. But anything lower class with savage feral nature would corrupt the intellectual mind of the user.

From what has been seen, the most feral transformation that one could transform into with no repercussions would be a Vulpimancer (Wildmutt).

After the prototype Omnitrix (Original and Alien Force Series), came the Ultimatrix, which came with new features, but new setbacks as well. And when Azimuth recalled the Ultimatrix to be dismantled, he gave Prime Ben the completed official Omnitrix.

The Omnitrix had an expansive amount of features the user had access to.

The main ones were usually depicted with their own special color.

The most common use for it was transformation, represented by the color green.

After selecting an alien to become, the Omnitrix alters the user’s DNA to become a prime version of that species. The result would be the fittest and healthiest version of said alien.

And when working properly, downloaded the instincts native to that species, allowing the user to automatically know what the aliens were capable of after transformation.

Although, the Omnitrix only turned the user into the species relative to their own age.

Upon transformation, the Omnitrix could equip the user with special handicaps needed to sustain the transformation.

Such as a Prypiatosian-B’s radiation suit (NRG), Polymorph’s anti-gravity projector (Goop) and Cerebrocrustacean’s breathing brace (Brainstorm).

Again, the Omnitrix must be working properly for these functions to activate.

The Omnitrix could also provide the user with uniforms, some even retaining the elements associated with the aliens’ homeworld attire.

The Omnitrix was unable to completely merge the user with artificial beings and created incomplete transformations such as Galvanic Mechamorph (Upgrade).

This is why the user’s voice was still the same in that form, as they were unable to retain their form when not merged with the technology they are upgrading, unlike pure Galvanic Mechamorph like Ship.

When transformed, the Omnitrix commonly limited the time one could stay as a different species before transforming back to their original form.

Putting it into recharge mode, the red setting.

Each iteration of the Omnitrix handled this differently.

The Prototype normally gave a time limit of ten minutes per transformation. Be it as a fail safe measure or as a training wheel mode.

Transformations capable of overwhelming the user had been registered in aliens like Necrofriggian (Big Chill), an asexual transformation that forced Prime Ben to hatch fourteen offsprings during its reproduction cycle, and Methanosian (Swampfire) blossoming as a form of puberty.

The Ultimatrix changed the transformation range to be based on energy instead of time.

With it, the user could now become an alien for a significantly longer period of time, but changing between alien forms would cause the overall time limit to shorten.

Meanwhile, the Official Omnitrix appeared to have a combination of both methods. However, with this version, this could be bypassed to remain as one transformation for an indefinite amount of time using the life form lock function (or the master control).

The Omnitrix could also store new DNA samples into its database using its yellow setting, Capture mode.

Either by touch or by extended projection, the user could replicate any sapient specie’s DNA (not already stored on the Omnitrix) and immediately allow access to the new transformation.

The blue setting, Recalibration Mode, had only been shown once.

While it had been confirmed that in the future where Ben Prime never took off the Omnitrix it continued to grow with Ben’s maturing body, it’s shown in “Ben 10 returns — part 1” that if the Omnitrix is dormant for a long period of time without use, it must first recalibrate when activated before granting access to all of its features again.

When Recallibrating, the Omnitrix could then change its cosmetics to reflect the alteration.

Lastly, there was the orange setting, which stood for Self-Destruction Mode.

Although the Omnitrix was practically indestructible, even by multiversal standards, the one thing that had been shown to actually damage the Omnitrix was itself.

This feature’s power was designed to completely incapacitated the Omnitrix in a desperate situation.

When intentionally activated, this mode would destroy the Omnitrix in 30 seconds. But if the charge were to build up long enough, it could even destroy the entire universe.

The Omnitrix had also been shown to adapt to the color of certain types of energy, when they were in contact.

Eon, who had chrono manipulative abilities, had been able to interfere with the Omnitrix due to his inconceivable knowledge of the Omnitrix from time-traveling. Both when he attempted to turn Ben into a genetic copy of himself to take his place and when he used the Omnitrix’s signal to restore him to the timeline, the Omnitrix turned purple.

Similarly, Gwen’s mana has also interfered with the Omnitrix on a few occasions, allowing the Omnitrix to glow pink.

Both of these colors were the result of tempering with the device, but only shown to be the case with the Prototype Omnitrix and Ultimatrix.

It was unknown if the official Omnitrix was still susceptible to Chrono and Mystical energies, but some evidence suggested that it had been improved to negate these effects.

Now with the basics covered, I could delve into the special additional features the Omnitrix had.

The first was a universal translator.

It was pretty self explanatory, translating all alien languages in range of the user in real-time.

If the species language was unable to be processed by the translator, the user could simply change into that species using the Omnitrix to further gather verbal information.

The Omnitrix also protected the user in a number of ways, even with special abilities not native to the current transformation species.

It’s been demonstrated to have the ability to prevent the user from being overshadowed or mind-controlled (only if the process occurred while they were transformed), suffered mutations from highly toxic situations like being nearby corrodium or even from being affected by Dr, Animo’s Mutant Ray.

The Omnitrix also protected Prime Ben from Albedo’s incomplete Omnitrix’s feedback, whereas Albedo’s Omnitrix didn’t.

Cosmetically, the Omnitrix could change its appearance in display format a number of ways and could either grow or shrink its size to comfortably fit the user.

Should the Omnitrix need any maintenance work that must be done in Primus, the Omnitrix could teleport the user to the planet at any given time.

Now, the Omnitrix’s Artificial Intelligence was perhaps one of the more baffling features.

It has been featured just like a computer, only responding to commands in a strictly informational sense, but it also seemed to appear to have a mind of its own.

Which makes one wonder if it is self-aware or just a very smart computer.

That said, not only could the Omnitrix manipulate its user’s DNA, but other beings as well. Both in close range and in long range.

Ben Prime had been shown curing civilians that were corrupted by the Highbreed to become DNAliens, which not only transformed their entire body, but also controlled their mind turning them into slaves.

If amplified enough the Omnitrix could even affect a designated species or population of a galaxy-wide scale (aka save an entire species from congenital sickness only to risk dooming their future by making them all sterile hybrids).

And in special scenarios the Omnitrix had even been able to create its own species.

This had been shown with Nanomech, a creation by the Omnitrix to counter the Nanochip Queen in the live-action Ben 10 movie (Alien Swarm).

And with the Crystalsapien Sugilite (Chromastone), the Guardian of Petropia.

While in the Prime universe, Ben Omnitrix was the only functional and completed version, he had had interactions with other Omnitrixes as well.

When synchronized, it could unlock and activate transformations another Omnitrix might not already have access to.

Additionally, the Omnitrix had a GPS with universal range (the one Vilgax and Max had used to track Ben’s location).

Voice command, a Randomizer function, Homing device, Audio and Visual two-way communication and indestructibility on a bare minimum multiversal scale.

Before the official Omnitrix came to be, it did suffer a few imperfections and glitches before the final version.

The most infamous of them being the constant mistransformations and randomized time limit.

In relation, initially the Prototype did not download the instincts of each species into the user’s biology, forcing the user to figure out how each of the aliens functioned through trial and error.

These errors were supposedly corrected when Omnitrix first recalibrated but were brought back when Prime Ben and Kevin tried to hack the Omnitrix in “Vengeance of Vilgax: part 1”.

In “Dr. Animo and the Mutant Ray”, Prime Ben temporarily detaches the faceplate of the Omnitrix from its core causing its transformations to fuse together at random.

Another temporary glitch was present in the episode “Benwolf”, where after first acquiring the Loboan DNA, the duration of transformation lasted hours. This was probably due to the Omnitrix being stuck between Capture Mode and Active Mode, a side effect probably related to the “Werewolf curse”.

The Omnitrix had also been able to transform other beings into other species when entangled with certain frequencies.

And the official Omnitrix introduced the curious glitch of when multiple Omnitrixes were synchronized together, one had the ability to transform another.

Albedo, the ex lab assistant of Azimuth with the body of a corrupted genetic copy of Prime Ben Tennyson, created the Ultimatrix meant to improve upon the Omnitrix and cure him of his mutation, reforming him back to his original Galvan body.

As no one was able to develop a fully functional Omnitrix other than Azimuth, the Omnitrix came with special features yet unique drawbacks.

It’s primarily known for evolving the user’s transformations into fierce combat ready counterparts of its original aliens.

While this feature might seem like a vast improvement, the numerous glitches in it made it even more challenging to use than the Prototype version.

The Ultimatrix’s firewalls appeared to be easily breached by higher forms of intelligence species, like Inspector 13.

Disappointingly, the Ultimatrix did not turn the user into a prime example of the species, but a genetic duplicate of whomever it scanned regardless of power or age.

It also did not retain the instincts of said species and had to figure out how each one of them worked manually similar to the Prototype version before recalibration.

Dangerously, one time a glitch in the Ultimatrix made all the ultimate DNA fully sentient inside of the Ultimatrix simulation.

Lastly, some of the fail-safes the Omnitrix contained.

The self-destruct mode had a lower tier version present in the prototype version. A green energy eruption, strong enough to push away even Vilgax, whenever someone tried to remove the Omnitrix from the user’s wrist.

The official Omnitrix had an annoying genetically locking feature, that even my current genetic code wasn’t valid enough to keep it active (due to my age not matching the age it was programmed to function).

And should any of the large variety of features just listed lead to the user’s death, the official Omnitrix’s AI was still capable of kicking in and doing whatever it could to prevent their termination.

MC’s POV

I’ve found a weird broken key hidden amongst the scraps of the pod that brought my Omnitrix to me.

Surprisingly, one of the few things that I vaguely recalled from the reboot.

But it’s presence made me unsure.

This key was supposed to introduce the Omni-Kixs and Omni-Nauts.

But the damage had been too severe,

The Omni-Kix were enhancements that used high tech armor to amplify the aliens’ abilities. A feature that was part of a security protocol that was built in the Omnitrix.

After integrating it into the Omnitrix, the Omni-Kix forms would be activated by turning the Omnitrix symbol in a 90° degree angle during transformations, leaving it in a sideways position.

Think of a basic suit of armor.

And like the Omni-Kix Armors, the Omni-Naut Armors used even higher tech armor that amplified the aliens’ abilities, even further.

Additionally, the Omni-Naut allowed the aliens to survive in the vacuum of space. Or at least added protection for those with a natural space survivability. Besides space, Omni-Naut Armors could also be used while in aquatic environments and had a jetpack.

But losing these features wasn’t that much of a loss.

What could be salvaged from the broken key allowed me to create my own added features without messing with the Omnitrix.

This opened many possibilities.

Curiously, after investigating my Omnitrix, I’ve found no fulmini transformation available yet.

Not sure if I ever will.

Don’t know what else from the Reboot will be added to my dimension.

Hopefully not much else.

In my free time, thanks to the resources I’ve collected since now, I’ve been working on some new features with the help of my Galvan and Galvanic Mechamorph form.

A bodycam, which would record everything I did while in alien form and could later be viewed/studied closer for information missed during my battles.

It could also create a map of terrain and keep track of any other beings located in the area with the efficiency of a geographic coordinate system.

The bodycam’s frame rate was high enough to keep flashes of light invisible to the naked eye.

These captures could even be projected holographically if I ever needed to.

But the feature with the best potential, although still in its testing phase, were the new modes I’ve introduced to my Omnitrix.

Currently there are only three.

Factory mode, which disabled the outer shell and cosmetics for easier operation and modification.

Stealth mode, which currently only turned my Omnitrix invisible.

Eventually my goal will be to make it capable of making my entire body invisible and intangible.

And Uniform mode, which gives my human form a transformation like uniform while storing my previous attire.

Some of its features included some foot and hand wear that gave me flight ability via channeling my mana into propulsion thrusters.

Plus a visor with an interface that gave me real time access to my private database.

Along with a portable system, which made use of my innate Anodite energy to power some automatic defenses and armbands for my Charms and Spellbook.

Eventually my goal will be to have a system that could zoom into my targets microscopically and break down their DNA to reveal its biology.

MC’s POV

What exactly could I transform into?

What were my limits?

Could I become a Pokemon?

A Transformer?

A Speedster?

Cthulhu?

Godzilla?

A living planet?

An Angel?

A New God?

The Living Tribunal?

The three rules I was going with were…

1.The species must be smart enough.

It could absolutely be much smarter than me, but not less than a Vulpimancer or a Flora Colossus (AKA Groot).

But this was a rule I planned to explore (and perhaps even defy) it’s validity when experimenting with the Nemetrix.

2.It must have “DNA”.

Despite it seeming like an easy requirement, it certainly proved to be a tricky matter. It’s easy to see how organic beings were prime candidates (Kryptonians, Asgardians and Saiyans).

But what about Ectonurites? It wasn’t a typical living organism, having no mana (life energy). Which completely differs from Anodites, who were made of pure mana.

Sonorosians (Echo echo) and Conductoids (Feedback) were abstract concepts in suits, like living sound and electricity.

And seemingly pure mechanical beings like Chronosapiens (Clockwork) and Prypiatosian-A (Atomix) pushed what it meant to have DNA even further.

Or non-organic beings, like Galvanic Mechamorphs (Upgrade) and Nanochips (though sentience was still required in a way).

The last implying that the Omnitrix could transform the user into one of a kind beings. Like the Guardian of Petropia (Jesus Diamondhead).

Cosmic and multidimensional beings were impressively enough still valid candidates.

To’kustar (Way Big) were a species who were created during unpredictable cosmic storms and Naljians were an interdimensional alien species who inhabited an upper position of existence (perceiving beyond the twenty-sixth dimension supported by the Bosonic string theory).

Not forgetting Celestialsapiens (Alien x), which could be scaled as being Multiversal level+. And the creators teased that they weren’t even the strongest species in the Omnitrix.

Perhaps a Dagon transformation was what they had in mind.

What about mutants? Despite it being very unstable, I still thought it’s perfectly possible, given the previously mentioned valid candidates.

Changelings like Frieza and Deviants like Thanos were some of the examples that came to my mind. Alongside Mutants, Meta humans, Inhumans, Eternals and Individuals with Quirks.

3.The DNA must be different enough from the user’s.

Technically, no matter how small of a margin, as long as the being could be classified as being different from the user, it might count as a separate transformation.

The best example came from the two subspecies Perk and Murk Gourmands (Upchucks).

Both were essentially the same creatures in nearly every way aside from their appearance. But apparently that was enough to classify them as two different beings.

Taking that into consideration, and coming back to my brief consideration about mutant-adjacent types of beings similar to one species (like humans) with a small genetic difference.

Engineers from the Alien franchise were even confirmed by the creator of Ben 10 as a valid transformation.

As of now, I’ve collected Limax, Nosedeenian (Buzzshock), Yautja (Predator), Chozo (from Samus) and the Cryptid Krakken DNAs.

However, for now I have better alternatives for the first and the last.

Plus Kraab and SixSix’s samples. Though both were cybernetically enhanced versions of their own species.

If I managed to fix the Key, they could be valid candidates as well.

Not to mention the abundant samples of Lenopan DNA from Lucy and Kate’s half Osmosian.

Excellent additions to my arsenal.

Rojo, was the leader of the heavily-armed female biker gang that got demolished by Ben.

Being a selfish, greedy, violent and amoral tomboy who was not hesitant to attack innocent bystanders simply because they annoy her. And more than willing to harm children and elders.

She had shoulder-length red hair, pale skin, and black lipstick with black markings extending from each of her eyes. Wore brown jeans as well as a gothic black jacket, belt, and choker necklace, along with a grey shirt and gloves. Her gang insignia was a skull, which she wore on each of the shoulders on her jacket.

If one of Vilgax’s drones managed to fuse with her body, her skin would’ve been transmuted to a shade of red. While also developing cybernetic eyes, retractable claws and shoulder-mounted laser blasters.

But that was exactly what Ben had in mind for her. By refining the fusion process of Vilgax’s drones, he had managed to enhance her physique through regular injections of nanites.

After crafting her a suit of armor comparable to the boost she would’ve got canonically (and with the same fail safe control), it was merely a matter of finding the necessary spell to have her as his personal slave in both mind, body and soul.

Alongside her fellow biker gang criminals (Azul and Amarillo), Ben had made them his Forever Rangers, the first members of his Black Operation squad, directly inspired by the Forever Ninja.

Next, Ben had eaten Zombozo’s soul in his Ectonurite form, just to get rid of such loose cannon. So with Mr. Goofball Emotional Vampire out of the picture, alongside Thumbskull and Acid Breath, the only circus freak remaining was Frightwig.

Known for her powerful tentacles on her head, resembling hair, Frightwig was a thief, motivated by money.

Not any more.

However, instead through nanites, Ben improved her physique after refining Thumbskull’s mutation. He wasn’t willing to risk her beauty by adding either Acid breath or Clancy’s powers.

Frightwig could use her tentacle-like hair to attack, wrap up, and defeat opponents. Her hair was extremely powerful, with black sharp points on the tips for greater piercing and slashing damage.

Her fighting styles didn’t typically consist of hand to hand, but since her body had become much stronger, Ben had decided to cover that weakness for her by introducing her to martial arts.

Other than that, she was naturally cunning and highly flexible, as she constantly exhibited possession of extensive training in acrobatics and gymnastics.

With Rojo and her accomplices being his Forever Rangers, Frightwig would assume the title of Forever Hellequin.

Her attire consisted of a striped gold and purple jester costume with an ornate golden mask.

But despite her brightly-colored costume and somewhat silly headgear, his Forever Hellequin clearly preferred to act in dramas.

Especially the bloody ones.

When using her deadly hair, she was always sure to leave her audience with a grin from ear to ear.

The grin also never left her face, as she would always keep her dual hidden blades at the ready… in case any of Ben’s enemies were in need of an encore performance.

MC’s POV

Eon was an interdimensional timeline traveler and one of Prime Ben’s adversaries.

Being essentially a psychopath, willing to mess up the timelines just to get what he wanted, and would resort to destroying all of existence if denied the chance to rule.

He would see everything burn if he could be King of the ashes

Eon apparently had a long history with and a deep hatred of Professor Paradox, to whom he was in many ways equal yet inferior; while Eon could be very intelligent and perceive the fragility of spacetime, unlike Paradox, he failed to recognize that the fullest power of a nigh-omnipotent device such as the Chrono Navigator was not something that could be exploited and controlled without cataclysmic consequences.

Eon was willing to work with other villains when their goals benefited him in some way, but unfortunately for him, he failed to realize that the most evil and intelligent of said villains may have treacherous hidden agendas.

These would have a detrimental effect on him once his usefulness has ended.

Eon also failed to learn this from previous double-crossings that have happened to him; this was what allowed Vilgax to manipulate, exploit, and ultimately double-cross Eon during their partnership to wipe out the good Bens across the multiverse, with fatal consequences for Eon himself.

But I could see some potential in him.

Not as a trusty companion.

But as an actual role model.

You see, Eon was an alternate and evil version of Ben Tennyson.

Until I get my hands on some Chronian DNA though, I would have to be content with studying magic to accomplish Time Manipulation.

After all, Future Gwen Tennyson made it seem as if time travel would be a simple matter if one knew the right spell.

And the Spellbook I got from Hex had plenty of it.

I only wished it had one that helped me make a quick search through the countless lists of spells, charms and jinxes.

(30/07/2021)

*Hey there! Thanks for reading my work! I hope this chapter is of your liking. I tried to appease the desire of some for more point of view of the main character.

As you could see in this chapter, I tried to establish everything I was taking into consideration while dealing with the Omnitrix.

I bet I almost got some of you with the mention of the Reboot. 😅 Well, Psyche! 😁

I also tried to make use of the female villains too pretty to become lab rats. Hopefully I managed to make the entire matter engaging. The MC is slowly forming his Black Ops Squad.

And I decided to hint about both Time Manipulation powers being initially tied to his magic.

Sorry if you expected more of it. 😅

Any ideas for powers, adventure arcs and girls are more than welcomed. I might not use anything, but you will have my gratitude for trying.

If this chapter is a mess of grammatical errors, please wait, I’ll promptly try to fix it. But for that I need your feedback.

Thanks as always for your time, hope you have a fantastic day and please stay safe.

Bye.

** Like always, the next update might take quite some time to come. 😓

Chapter 10: Goodbye and Good Riddance

“We’re live on the scene of a high speed police pursuit of an armored car stolen earlier today from a federal reserve in Denver.” A news reporter said as it was shown in the news footage of an armored car passing by the Rust Bucket. “It is believed the thieves also have a hostage.”

A large blast of energy was suddenly shot at it and caused the armored car to hit a speed bump, which slashed the tire and caused the car to swerve out of control before stopping. As the police squads surrounded, the cops got out and aimed their guns.

“Freeze!” The captain shouted.

The door opened and the crook stepped out with a machine gun in his hand, grabbing his hostage from the train and holding the hostage’s neck under his arm with a glare.

“Hold your fire!” The captain told his team as they lowered their guns.

The crook’s partner came out with a strange looking gun. He fired it, sending out a bolt of electricity at a car, blowing it up and sending the cops scattering.

Suddenly, a slim figure made entirely of bright crystal appeared behind him from the smoke and cracked her knuckles.

“Wait, what’s this?” The reporter asked as the alien creature effortlessly slashed the weapon in half with her blade arm.

The crook ran off before he was lifted up in the air as a huge magical vortex of air formed from the ground beneath him, incapacitating him as he was knocked unconscious.

“It looks like we have another alien sighting!” The news reporter announced.

The driver held his hostage in his arms while pointing the gun at the half Petrosapien before he felt someone tapping his shoulder.

He spun around to see a four armed being crossing both sets of her arms and tapping her foot patiently. The crook released the hostage, prompting the scarlet giant to smile.

“Good boy.” She said. “Now, if you would be so kind as to turn yourself in…”

The driver nodded before walking to the cops with his hands in the air.

“We don’t know where these creatures come from, but they seem to be here to help.”

Little did they know, the news report was being broadcast on the Chimerian Hammer in Earth’s orbit, being shown to Vilgax.

“The Omnitrix, wasted on pointless heroics!” Vilgax said, annoyed. “But the one holding seems to have already replicated its effects on other accomplices.

“Shall I dispatch more drones to retrieve it?” the Bioid asked.

“No.”

The healing chamber suddenly opened, releasing tons of steam everywhere as Vilgax emerged from the chamber, now completely healed of his injuries from when the Omnitrix was sent to Earth.

He then stepped on a medical drone, destroying it.

“I will see to this task myself.”

— — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — —

Ben suddenly shot up from his bed (passenger seat) with a shout, prompting everyone to walk up to him worriedly.

“What’s happened, Ben?” Max asked while the other girls had concerned expressions.

“Believe it or not, I just had a nightmare.” Ben replied with an awkward smile, seeing how Kate sympathized with him. “It was with a weird alien I have never seen before. Big and ugly with a green squid face.”

“It was just a bad dream, son.” Max reassured Ben. “We can talk about it in the morning.”

“Okay. I just got startled by how he looked right at me and said ‘I”m coming for you now.’” Ben replied with a chuckle. “Silly me.”

Max suddenly got a shocked look in his eye as he gasped. “Change of plan. We’re hitting the road right now.”

“Grandpa, it’s three in the morning.” Gwen groaned while Lucy dozed off for a brief moment.

“Best way to beat the traffic.” Max stated as he fired the ignition and the Rust Bucket started up and headed on course to its destination.

In South Dakota, the Rust Bucket drove by a herd of buffalo as the kids looked at the window, being surprised at how quickly they were moving.

“Hey.” Lucy said. “What’s with the lead foot?”

“I want to make Mt. Rushmore by nightfall.” Max said.

“I’m so bored.” Kate said before turning to Ben. “Let me play a game.”

“I would but I think this would be a good lesson for us to entertain ourselves.” Ben said with a wink.

Kate smirked as she knew it was time for her to continue training her powers.

The Chimerian Hammer picked up a spike of Omni Energy on Earth, which did not go unnoticed by Vilgax.

“The Omnitrix has been activated.” He said. “Pinpoint their location.”

The Bioids used a GPS signal within the ship that pinpointed the exact location of the Omnitrix, the green signal flashing brightly.

“I have you now.”

Gwen typed something into her laptop before the entire system shut down to her surprise.

“Hey, what gives?” She asked.

The blank screen morphed into a red and black signal with a singular eye, indicating that Kate had absorbed the powers of Ben’s Galvanic Mechamorph transformation.

“Sorry, your computer was in dire need of an Upgrade.” Kate taunted as she stuck her head out of the laptop and pecked Gwen on the chin.

“Kate, get out of my computer!” Gwen shouted.

“What? I’m doing you a favor.” She said. “You are welcome.”

“This is my private property!” Gwen shouted as Lucy started chuckling to herself.

“Okay, this is pretty funny.” She said.

Kate then morphed the laptop into a robotic creature with spider legs as she scanned its files and dodged Gwen’s advances toward it.

“What’s this? A diary?” Kate asked dramatically.

“Cut it out, Kate.” Ben said with a small chuckle.

“Dear Diary, my cousin Ben is so h-”

“-HELPFUL! Knock it off Kate!” Gwen shouted, speaking over what Kate was about to say.

“Kate, Ben, now is not the time for training, do you understand?” Max asked.

“I was just fooling around.” Kate stated as she demerged off the computer, earning a flick on her forehead from Ben and an angry red face from Gwen. Meanwhile Lucy was simply laughing and snorting.

“We can’t afford to attract attention right now.” Max stated.

“But Grandpa, what kind of attention can we attract here?” Ben asked as Kate’s appearance returned to normal.

“Never mind,” Max said as the kids looked at each other and shrugged.

On the Chimerian Hammer, as Ben stopped using his Omnitrix, his signal went out on the alien screen.

“We have lost the Omnitrix’s signal for good this time.” The Bioid reported.

“No matter.” Vilgax said. “I’ve narrowed down both its locations.”

He looked at pictures of the aliens’ forms as they saved people and stopped criminals all across America.

“I know just how to draw this earthling out.” He said before he smashed a picture of a Petrosapien saving a kitten in anger.

The Chimerian Hammer entered Earth’s atmosphere, close to the Rust Bucket’s location, casting a shadow down on the ground and sending a nearby group of buffalo scattering in fear.

The ship opened the hatch on its underside and dropped down two drones and a giant mechanical spiked sphere device, which hit the ground on a search for the Omnitrix.

They approached Rapid City, South Dakota to cause chaos to draw the user of the Omnitrix out, destroying the “Welcome to Rapid City” sign as it passed by.

The Rust Bucket continued on its path to Mount Rushmore when the kids looked up from their devices and looked out the window and saw smoke rising from the rooftops of the buildings of Rapid City.

“What’s going on over there?” Lucy asked, concern evident in her voice.

“I’m sure the local authorities have the situation well at hand.” Max reassured, focused on his task at hand.

The civilians ran for their lives as the drones fired several laser beams, destroying several cars and causing immense chaos while the spiked ball rolled over some buildings, completely demolishing them.

At one point, they approached a local gas station and fired their lasers, sending the customers running off in a panic as the gasoline canisters instantly ignited, causing a major explosion, which resulted in a mushroom cloud which did not go unnoticed by Ben and the others.

“Looks like it’s hero time!” Kate said as she turned to Ben.

“Guys, I don’t think that’s the best idea.” Max warned.

“Sorry, Grandpa.” Ben said. “I know that people are in trouble and I can’t sit here and do nothing.”

“Time to go kick some ass!” Gwen shouted, earning a weird out look from everyone else.

“I will go alone this time.” Ben announced. “I let you three fight alone last time. Now it’s my turn.”

The Rust Bucket pulled over and Ben bursted toward the city to stop the drones at ludicrous speed, leaving the girls and Max stunned.

The civilians ran for their lives as the drones continued their assault before they were struck with deadly precise quills from Ben’s Vulpimancer form, as he jumped all over the city before landing in his Tetramand form grabbing four of them with his arms and smashing them against each other, reducing them to scrap metal.

“Hey, why don’t you pick on someone with real fire power?” Ben said, changing to his Pyromite form flickering between yellow and blue flames. “If not, I will chill you guys myself.”

He chuckled as he looked around to see tons of the drones surrounding them on all sides. “Oh man, good thing you are all here to stall me.”

He then fired up a flurry of balls and circles of energy at the myriad of drones, not missing a single one of them and keeping the collateral damage to a minimum.

Once all of the drones were destroyed, he was suddenly hit with an electrical net which would snared and pinned him to a nearby wall if not his body flickering as a cloud of smoke and embers.

Ben simply shrugged and stood there, awaiting the giant spiked ball rolling towards him to come to a complete halt, not flinching at all.

The ball suddenly opened up, revealing some kind of pod bay, which opened the doors, revealing a very familiar squid-like alien.

“Someone certainly enjoys making an entrance.” Ben pointed.

“At last we met. The being that has caused me so much trouble!”

“A pity I can’t say the same about you, squidward.” Ben scoffed.

“I am Vilgax. And I have come for the Omnitrix!”

“At least you are straightforward.” Ben smiled. “But I’m afraid I won’t be able to help you. This is my property now.”

“Underestimating me is a grave mistake.” Vilgax glared as the steroid pumps in his arms activated and his arms inflated with major amounts of muscle before rushing towards Ben. “The last you’ll ever make.”

Instead of rushing back at him without a plan, Ben decided to play smart.

“First, I’ve got to slow you down!” Ben said before unleashing a massive heatray, which melted the blacktop in front of him into blazing hot tar, immediately flooding the streets and slowed Vilgax down before he collapsed.

Seeing Vilgax slowly outmuscle his way out of the trap, Ben flames flickered into the color blue and fired his ice beams at Vilgax, instantly causing the temperature to drop significantly and the street to fill up with steam due to the combination of the hot tar combining with ice.

When he was done, the image of Vilgax frozen in the spot while still restrained by the solidified pavement signaled the end of their fight.

“I didn’t even need to cast a single spell.” Ben declared smugly before changing to his human form. Pulling the miniature version of his Spellbook, Ben chanted. “Statuea.”

Ben’s eyes and hands shone green as he placed an immobilization charm over the iceberg. “Just to be sure.”

But to his surprise, the ice began to crack ever so slightly.

“Geez, what happened to you dude?” Ben asked with a chuckle. “Look at you! An unstoppable force of nature! A real shame what they’ve done to you for the future series.”

The Rust Bucket suddenly screeched to a halt and Gwen opened the door hard.

“Ben, Grandpa said to get in. Now!” Gwen said, ushering him to come in.

“Okay then.” Ben replied with a nod.

As he got in the Rust Bucket and sat down at the seat, both Lucy and Kate questioned him about the big alien he had turned into a popsicle.

The Rust Bucket sped down the road as Vilgax finally broke free and glared down at the recreational vehicle.

“Believe me when I say you do not want to pick a fight with Vilgax.” Max sternly said.

“Yeah, well-” Ben trailed off pretending to be surprised by what his grandfather had said. “…How did you know his name is Vilgax?”

“Yeah, what’s up?” Lucy asked.

“What aren’t you telling us?” Gwen asked.

“It’s nothing.” Max said.

“You’re lying.” Ben declared. “You knew that the forms the Omnitrix turned me into were aliens and not monsters. And ever since this morning, you’ve been acting like you know something. I’m not an idiot. Tell me the truth or put some effort in your lies.”

Suddenly, a sudden explosion from behind pushed the Rust Bucket slightly forward and the girls fell back against the wall, dazed.

Kate opened the curtains and saw two of Vilgax’s drones closing in on them. “Two robot goons, closing in fast!”

“Hold on!” Max said as he drove the car forward, avoiding the lasers that rained down on them and destroyed the parts of the street that they collided with.

“We can’t keep this up forever, Grandpa!” Ben said as they looked out at the drones.

“Things are gonna get a whole lot worse if we don’t get to Mt. Rushmore.” Max remarked.

“Why?! What’s at Mt. Rushmore?” Gwen asked as a laser hit the street next to them.

“Gwen, this is not the time to explain!”

“You’re going to have to trust me on this.”

“Well, I’ll trust you that Mt. Rushmore will keep you all safe.” Ben said as he transformed into his Lepidopterran form, flapping his wings. “But I’m not gonna let you guys get hurt because of me!

“Ben, wait!” Max said as he flew out the door and engaged the drones in the air, easily dodging the laser blasts before facing the drones head on.

Ben spat out a large amount of slime from his mouth onto one of the drones before quickly turning into his Pyronite form and tossing a fireball at it, igniting the slime and sending the drone hurtling towards its destruction, right behind the Rust Bucket.

Ben then went back to his insect form, stabbing his stinger tail into the second one, damaging its laser before morphing back to burning flame and destroying it with his heat ray.

As Ben hovered in place for a moment, a figure leapt towards him.

Before it could grab onto his tail, Ben changed to his Ectonurite form and phased past his attacker.

“Lucky you I’m having so much fun.” Ben said alone, with his voice being a mixture of gasp and a whisper. “Otherwise I would’ve possessed you already.”

Vilgax landed in a crater, right in front of the Rust Bucket, which made a U-Turn and made another route to Mt. Rushmore.

“Where are you going? We need to help Ben!” Gwen shouted.

“Yeah!” Both Lucy and Kate shouted.

“We will, but first we need to get some special help.” Max replied.

“Let me guess? At Mt. Rushmore?” Lucy said.

Max didn’t answer as he continued driving.

“Grandpa? You’re really freaking me out.” Gwen remarked worriedly.

Back with Ben, he continued to dodge Vilgax as he chased him across the rooftops.

“I see you’ve gained great control over the Omnitrix.” Vilgax said. “But that won’t be enough to stop me from getting what I want.”

“Alright. I believe you.” Ben suddenly said, not running away anymore and changing back to his human form. “It has been fun while it lasted.”

“A child? The Omnitrix is in the hands of a mere child!?” Vilgax asked incredulously.

“Yeah, what about it?” Ben asked unfazed by the imposing alien. “I don’t suppose that means you’re going to let me go, does it?”

“Hardly.” Vilgax replied, narrowing his eyes.

“Okay then, I yield.” Ben declared, raising his arms in surrender. “Just stop terrorizing my people.”

“How noble.” Vilgax replied as he picked Ben up by the arm and typed in a locking code on the Omnitrix. “But useless.”

The spiked sphere vehicle came rolling back up to him and opened up as Ben sighed.

Vilgax tossed him in the sphere and entered it himself before it closed up and rolled away, destroying another building in the process.

The Rust Bucket pulled up to Mount Rushmore, driving up the side of the mountain face on a completely thin road.

“Wow, are you sure where you are going?” Kate questioned looking through the window.

“I don’t think tourists are allowed on this road.” Lucy said and Gwen nodded.

“We’re not tourists.” Max said. “We’re tenants.”

They drove up to a ‘Road Closed’ sign and stopped. Max pressed a button on the undercarriage and an elevator opened up beneath them, lowering them into the bowels of Mount Rushmore.

They stopped when they were inside a mysterious chamber made up of some kind of metal. The four walked through the halls before Max stopped at some cabinets. He pressed a button on some of them, revealing some kind of alien tech. He repeated this process a few more times before Gwen finally lost her patience.

“That’s it!” Gwen shouted. “We are not taking another step until you tell me what’s going on! Why aren’t we helping Ben, what is this place and how do you know about that alien guy who’s after him?”

Max put on some equipment, including a protective vest and goggles. “Well, it’s kind of complicated. But let’s just say…” He then pulled out a massive cannon, which looked like it could do some major damage. “…I wasn’t exactly a normal plumber before I retired.”

Unknown to them, two women with blue and yellow hair and high advanced tech suits had just followed them down there.

Immediately connecting with the underground base systems without being noticed by the group.

Ben was being held prisoner on Vilgax’s ship.

Being held in electric prison chambers that looked like it came straight out of The Incredibles, with their left wrists being held in large metal chambers to contain the Omnitrix as Vilgax scanned its data.

“A child.” He scoffed. “I should have expected as much with the Omnitrix being used as a play toy!”

“Hey, I’ve saved a lot of people by becoming a hero!” Ben said. “Though I shouldn’t expect sympathy for others from you.”

“You don’t get it at all, do you?” Vilgax asked, approaching Ben. “You hold the key to a power struggle so ancient, so vast, that it is beyond your feeble comprehension.”

“I’m listening, squid face.” Ben replied, not afraid in the slightest. “It’s not like I have anything better to do right now.”

“Feature an entire army, each in command of an Omnitrix and all at my command! I will be invincible! I will rule the universe! And the only thing standing between me and my destiny is you two.”

A selection of spears and other bladed weapons rose up from the ground around them as Ben rolled his eyes.

Little did Vilgax know that as the ship flew aboard, a portal opened up from above the ship and two figures dropped out of it and stabbed their daggers and claws into the side of the ship.

They were both Ben’s Forever Ranger and Hellequin.

They nodded to one another as the two used their blades to climb up to the top of the ship.

“Let’s go! Master is counting on us to accomplish the mission he gave us! But we need to do it stealthily.” Scarlet Ranger said.

“Understood.” Hellequin agreed as she followed her.

“This weapon is keyed into Vilgax’s bio signature,” Max explained as they left the secret chamber. “It’ll take him down for good this time.”

“This time?” Gwen asked.

“There’s a small red button under that cabinet. Press it.” Max ordered.

Kate complied, opened the cabinet and pressed the button. When she did so, a blue map with a red blinking dot was projected in front of them.

“Wow!” Lucy exclaimed.

“GPS assisted tracking system. It’s locked on the watch’s signal. One of you, navigate.”

Ben chuckled as Vilgax had his back turned after a piece of his visor informed him of his Black Ops squad progress.

“Prepare for takeoff.” Vilgax stated. “Once we’re in orbit, I will finally have the pleasure of destroying this miserable planet once and for all.”

The Rust Bucket zoomed up to see the Chimerian Hammer preparing for takeoff.

“There’s the spaceship!” Gwen said.

“That’s so cool!” Kate added.

“We have to get aboard.” Max said.

“Get aboard? How?” Lucy questioned.

Max smiled as the radio shifted into the dashboard and a control panel appeared in its place. He pressed a button and the Rust Bucket suddenly shifted. The sides of the bumper shifted outwards and the grill glowed green as it started picking up speed before shooting off of the hill.

The girls screamed in horror as they closed in on the spaceship.

On the opposite side of the ship, Scarlet Ranger used her laser swords to cut a hole in the frame of the ship and Hellequin used her hair to burst them inside.

With a quick check for their surroundings, they snuck through the halls as Scarlet glared.

“I can sense the Ship’s mainframe this way.” She explained as they followed her signal, rushing through the ship halls, slashing and burning any drone they came across on the way, leaving absolutely no one untouched or functioning.

Eventually they reached their destination and immediately began downloading everything they could.

Through Scarlet’s advanced suit, she glimpsed past many blueprints and schematics for Vilgax’s personal projects and stolen treasures.

Special swords, Spaceships and Rayguns (specifically the one that allowed him to destroy planets).

And even some information regarding the location of some artifacts Vilgax had postponed acquisition after he got his hands on the Omnitrix.

Ruby Ray of Rouleau, Shield of Seagle and Chronosapien Time Bomb.

But to her delight, the thing her master had specifically mentioned to be her priority was also found.

And two strange pieces of technology named Vox Peniculus and Bioids.

Vilgax activated an energy sword and approached his “helpless” victim.

In return, Ben simply grinned before musing. “I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen The Incredibles by this point. How did Violet do it again?”

In an instant he gathered his energy and summoned a forcefield around himself, his cuffs started rotating forward and backward, building up momentum to break free of the electric bonds faster than Vilgax could react.

When Vilgax finally decided to slash at Ben’s arm, the Rust Bucket burst through the wall, rolling over some Bioids and slamming into Vilgax.

“It seems this is no longer a private party.” Ben joked, activating his uniform, though keeping his Charms and Spellbook stored away.

Max stepped out of the Rust Bucket and charged up the cannon, glaring at Vilgax.

“Warning, hull breach. Power surge!” the Bioid reported amidst the chaos.

“Claws off my grandson, Vilgax!” Max shouted.

“Tennyson!” Vilgax glared.

Max fired the cannon, sending Vilgax barreling through several walls and doors, before dropping it and rushing to his grandson.

“So you do know each other.” Ben pointed with his arms crossed.

“It’s a long story.” Max said. “Impressive suit.”

Ben sighed at Max’s quick change of subject. “Thanks, it’s a new feature I’ve unlocked.”

The girls stepped out and saw tons of drones swarming the group and shouted. “Look out!”

“Battle formation!” Ben replied as they nodded.

They let out battle cries as they hacked and slashed through the drones as they showed up around them.

Gwen swept her hands out and fired magic energy waves at the drones, destroying them.

Lucy threw an enlarged punch at the drones, allowing their lasers to go through her.

Kate tried to throw her own powerful punch after absorbing the metal floor, but one drone managed to sneak on her from behind. Before it managed to land a hit on her though, it got destroyed by Max.

“Thanks.” Kate told him before picking up the destroyed drone and throwing it at another one behind Max.

“You’re welcome, kiddo.” Max said nostalgically.

Suddenly, Ben shifted into his tiny Galvan transformation and crawled inside a drone before it discharged electricity before tons of icicles shot out of it and a blue Pyronite emerged from it.

“A little alien know-how and the toaster is toast.” Ben said, before immediately turning and changing to his

Piscciss Vollan form and munching the head of another drone.

As Ben clawed his way through two more, he transformed into his Galvanic Mechamorph and rapidly merged with a bigger one.

While another drone had Gwen in its scope range and was about to blast, Ben surprised it with his bladed flying machine and shredded it to pieces.

“Thanks, Ben!” Gwen said with a smile.

“Don’t mention it!” He replied while winking the green circle of his transformation.

He flew around and destroyed most of the drones that came close to him before he demerged with that one and Gwen blasted it with two energy beams from her hands that caused it to blow up.

Kate punched down some of her own drones before ripping out the wires with her fingers as she stood side by side with Lucy, who blasted blobs of mud at more drones, destroying them as well.

None of them realized that in the ensuing chaos from the battle, the Chimerian Hammer was falling out of the sky due to the autopilot mechanism being tempered with.

“We’ve got to get this ship under control!” Max exclaimed before running off.

“You can fly a spaceship?” Ben asked, faking surprise.

“At this point, nothing surprises me.” Gwen said, earning some nods from both Lucy and Kate.

Max typed in the commands at the control mechanism, without realizing that Vilgax had recovered and stood next to him.

Vilgax suddenly grabbed Max’s collar and tossed him towards the gaping hole in the ship’s frame. He then pressed his foot down on him while Max struggled to push it back up.

“Grandpa!” Ben shouted while rushing at them.

Vilgax smirked underneath his mask while holding Max down, his tentacles blowing in the wind. “Your weapon won’t help, Tennyson. As you can see, I’m much stronger than in our last encounter.”

“NO!” Ben shouted as he tackled Vilgax out of the hole in the ship and they all went hurtling down towards the ground.

Ben used his semi-fluid-like body as a Galvanic Mechamorph to inflate into a parachute and save himself while Vilgax crashed down into the ground.

Ben landed on the George Washington head of Mt. Rushmore as his Lepidopterran form, still flapping his wings.

“I love this watch.” He said turning into his human form before seating on the floor.

Max and the girls were still trying without success to get the Chimerian Hammer under control as it careened out of the sky.

“We’ve got to get out of here!” Max said as they looked towards the Rust Bucket as Lucy sighed and face-palmed.

“We’re doomed.” Gwen replied.

“I wouldn’t say that.” Max smirked, earning the opposite expression from the girls

In the blazing sun Ben saw a smoking trail coming at him, he smiled. “Cool, you just won’t quit!”

“How have you bypassed my locking command?” Vilgax said angrily after landing and reaching for Ben’s Omnitrix.

Suddenly, Ben vanished with a ripple. Vilgax looked to his side to see his opponent smiling in his Kineceleran form.

“Finding the Unlocking Code is child’s play for the true master of the Omnitrix.” Ben said before morphing into his Petrosapien form and stabbing the ground, prompting a ton of crystals to shoot out of the ground and crash into Vilgax as he shattered them with his brute strength.

“You can’t hide from me forever, boy!” Vilgax boasted as he saw a dust cloud running all around the mountain as Ben smirked from underneath his visor.

“I’m not planning on it! Peekaboo!” Ben shouted, but before he collided with Vilgax’s leg, he turned back to his Petrosapien form and curled into a ball of solid crystal.

Although the impact wasn’t as powerful as he would’ve wanted, Ben still managed to push Vilgax a few meters back, carving their path on the ground.

As a large cloud of dust was raised, another blast of green light could be seen.

“For what it’s worth, thanks for the challenge.” Ben shouted as he emerged as a Tetramnd and gave several punches to Vilgax’s body, actually hurting him thanks to his magically enhanced strength.

“You’re a passionate one, boy.” Vilgax said, before handing out a huge punch aimed at his gut, which was barely blocked by Ben’s four arms.

“You are tough. But I’m tougher.” Ben said before dishing out a sonic clap, which managed to push back Vilgax again.

Vilgax glared as the steroid pumps in his arms activated and his arms inflated with major amounts of muscle and he slammed his arms down into the head, causing the Theodore Roosevelt head to crumble as Ben dodged each of his swipes in his Kineceleran form.

“You can’t escape me!” Vilgax shouted as Ben dodged and headbutted him, carving a crater in the mountain.

Suddenly, a Vulpimancer came out of the dust roaring, Ben fired tons of mana enhanced quills at Vilgax, which he just brushed off with only superficial cuts.

But that was all Ben wanted.

Vilgax attempted to grab his head, but Ben morphed into his Ectonurite form and phased past the attack.

He then immediately morphed into a Tetramand and began pummeling Vilgax repeatedly with a bunch of energy punches.

“I really love this watch!” Ben said as he punched the ground with all his might, instantly generating an earthquake and pushing Vilgax down the mountain with a landslide.

After landing, Vilgax was forced to release the pressure from his steroids. Suddenly looking up, as his ship flew overhead and then finally crashed down into the woods as the Rust Bucket drove along its perimeter, Vilgax narrowed his eyes.

“You may want to hold on to something. This may get a little bumpy.” Max warned as the girls braced themselves.

They crashed through several walls and destroyed several Biods before finally crashing over the top as the girls screamed in terror.

Ben phased out of the wall in his Ectonurite form and met both Scarlet and Hellequin.

The two bowed respectfully. “Master.”

“Report.” Ben replied, being careful with his time and surroundings.

“Mission accomplished.” His Scarlet Ranger replied proudly.

“And your message has been successfully sent to the intergalactic authorities.” Hellequin added.

“Well done, go gather with Azure and Amber and make sure they’ve got everything from the Plumber base.”

“Yes, master!” The duo replied in unison as Ben turned back to his human form and ran over to the wreckage of the Chimerian Hammer.

Max recovered as he groaned from his sore joints and turned to check on the girls. “You okay?”

They groaned in response.

“At times like this, going back to school doesn’t seem like such a bad idea.” Gwen managed to say.

They heard a rumbling as Kate and Lucy got out of the Rust Bucket to investigate before they saw Vilgax walk out of the dust cloud and Gwen gulped in fear.

Ben ran over to the Rust Bucket to see it absolutely trashed.

He went on the other side and found both Kate and Lucy unconscious on the side of the Rust Bucket, he then faked a gasp once he saw Vilgax holding an unconscious Gwen and Max hostage.

“Let them go!” Ben shouted, following the script.

“It’s your choice. You or them.” Vilgax replied threateningly.

“Do you think I’m stupid or something?” Ben asked. “I know better than to trust you with something like that.”

“Do you have a choice?” Vilgax inquired.

Ben sighed, dropping to his knees.

“Noble as always.” Vilgax mocked him, dropping Gwen and Max and approaching him. “But for what it’s worth, I respect your value as a worthy opponent.”

While being carried back to the Chimerian Hammer, Ben smirked at the unexpected compliment.

As Max recovered his consciousness, he noticed Vilgax taking Ben back to his ship and shouted. “Vilgax, no! Don’t go back in there!”

With a single leap, the evil warlord reached his ship and had it immediately take flight.

Making his way inside, Vilgax mused. “Foolish earthling, why wouldn’t I…” But was stopped by a familiar alarm. “The auto-destruct sequence has been initiated!” He shouted, but before he could attempt to stop the countdown, a sudden chill went past him.

Vilgax gasped as he felt his own life force being sucked out of him.

“Consider this a favor, Vilgax the conqueror. You see..” Ben told him in his Ectonurite form. “You either die as a great villain, or you live long enough to see yourself become a lame one.”

The Chimerian Hammer then exploded as several debris fell out of the sky.

Max and the girls all braced themselves, but found themselves unharmed as Ben suddenly reached them and generated a forcefield around as the debris landed around them.

He chuckled as they stood on a lone pillar in a crater.

“You have to teach me that spell.” Gwen said to her cousin as he smiled with both Kate and Lucy surrounding him with hugs and cheers.

“Grandpa… we need to have a talk.” Ben said as they looked up.

“A long one.” Max agreed.

*Hey there! Thanks for reading my work! I hope this chapter is of your liking. I tried to conclude the season while addressing some of the plot points I’ve prolonged for the future. Ben’s showdown with Vilgax didn’t change much compared to the original source, but I hope you understand my motives.

Bye.
