Fiorentina want to sign Arthur permanently

Arthur, a 27-year-old midfielder, has struggled since joining Juventus. He was loaned out to Liverpool last summer after struggling to win a regular spot.

However, he did not appear in a single Premier League match and was instead loaned to Fiorentina this summer. The loan arrangement also includes a 20 million euro purchase option.

According to Calciomercato.com, Fiorentina is now ready to discuss this transfer and will offer a proposal to Juventus.

Fiorentina wants to prolong the loan arrangement until the conclusion of the season, and Juventus wants to extend Arthur’s contract by one year, until the summer of 2026.

The new agreement allows Juventus to deduct a portion of the transfer money from when they signed the midfielder from Barcelona in the summer of 2020.

Simultaneously, Fiorentina will request that the purchase option be reduced to 10 million euros.
