Preparation For An Interview:Asking Questions From HR

A project was assigned to us to ask questions to HR manager of any company from the Amal academy. We were divided into groups and each group comprising of six members. We were given the deadline of one week to complete the project. It was a totally new experience for all of us because we had never done any such activity in the past.We all took it as a challenge and started to work for it.We have followed the Amal principle of just start now.

“There will never be a perfect time.Just start where you are”.
First of all,we called a meeting of our group to discuss the matters related to the project. All members of the group participated in the activity, shared their ideas and gave the suggestions to complete it.We had divided the project work into different tasks like reaching out to HR,preparing questions, asking questions, thanks giving email etc.Different tasks has assigned to each member of the group.A date and time is being finalized to conduct an interview with the HR of General Seed Company.HR was not in the city area so we decided to take the interview on phone call.We have already made arrangements for the interview.
Interview was started on time and we started asking questions relevant to an interview to HR and he responded to each question very gently and given the briefed answers that we understood very well. Our questions were related to dress, skills, punctuality, being real and personality etc. Interview last for about 5 minutes and we ended it with the words of gratitude. We also sent a thank you email to HR within next 24 hours.
The Takeaway
So what is the purpose of sharing this story with all of you??Here are the main takeaways that we learnt from this activity.
- First we have learnt, how to contact with HR and ask for their precious time.
- It was a new experience for all of us and we got an opportunity to ask questions to the HR of the company that has improved our confidence and motivated us to do more things like this.
- The answers given by HR were very useful and practicable. We can apply those knowledge to our practical life and may perform better in an interview.
