Five Randoms Acts of Kindness
“No act of Kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted”
(Aesop)
Believing in that quotation, I always want to help someone with anything which I have. Right after the end of our session last Sunday I was given a task to do 5 acts of kindness. I felt glad because as in online course Benjie says that being Kind and generous always pays off.

Taking the example of Nelson Mandela, he was so kind to everyone, even with his jailor. That inspired me that If through Kindness a common person like Nelson Mandela could earn respect then why don’t we.
For this, I set Thursday as a practical day for my 5 Kindnesses.

1: Helping one of my juniors with books and data
On Thursday night a junior came to me at late night and asked to give him all books and other data about his 5th semester. Probably he has to make an assignment for his class. It was really late night so I first thought to tell him that he could come tomorrow, but then I thought that I am planning to spend this day (Thursday was just started) in helping and for kindness, so I welcomed him and gave him all that I could. And he was so thankful that I felt that what a great start of a day. And that became a full day motivation for me in order to accomplish my task.

2: Helping a wandering and lost person by guiding him with direction by using google earth.
I selected Thursday because I have to go UET Lahore, for applying for DMC. So, it could be the best day for me to do the maximum number of kindness as more you travel to more places, circumstances and people you found. As I was getting ready for my journey my roommate asked me that if I could apply for his DMC too. I agreed and then I headed towards my journey. When I reached “Do Moriah Pull”, I found a person who wanted to travel towards Iqbal Town Lahore, but he was misguided by someone.

I helped him and guided him with the help of Google Map about the local transport bus (LTC) & also offered him to pay for his travel but he refused and thanked me.
3: Talking to my Rikshaw driver.
After that, I again headed towards UET, as I have to change my rickshaw for UET. While setting on rikshaw I started talking with the driver, I asked him about his circumstances, how is he managing and what other things he is doing for a living. Actually, he was 2 years older than me and had to quit studies due to his poor financial circumstances. I guided him about Amal academy and getting a diploma in online courses.
I became more and more interested in him and in 20 mins of path we were like friends and he was so happy that when I reached my destination I was giving him the fare and he was refusing to take it but then I forced him to take as it was my duty and obligation to pay him what he deserves. I also gave him my phone number so that he could contact me about studies.
4: Giving a seat to an elder at Metro
I was returning towards my campus and I sat on a Metro bus (speedo). It was empty at the start so I easily got a seat and I was tired an enough because I had to stand in a long line for depositing the fee challan of me and my friend at Bank. Notwithstanding this, I also had to wait for 30mins in order to submit an application as the receptionist went somewhere for another work. So, I was tired and quietly sat on a seat and tried to make myself calm by closing eyes. Hardly it was 3 stops away that bus filled out with people and at the 5th stop, an elder entered in bus and he was full will sweat as it was an intensely humid and hot day.
I felt for him and I left my seat for him even my destination was 13 stops away. But I let him a seat as he was elder.
7: Donating my Pant to a sanitation worker
I returned back to my hostel and due to tiredness, I laid on a bed and went sleep. After some time about 7’Oclock. A sanitation worker came into my room for cleanliness of washroom. After doing his work he was about to go and I suddenly remember that I have a jeans pant which I am not wearing now so I offered him that jeans and he was like so thankful to me for this.

Takeaway:
I found that a small act of kindness even if it is very small could give a positive feedback. It is like making yourself more connected with your community and when you are in a team or in a company than helping and showing kindness to everyone like Nelson Mandela did make you an MVTP. And an MVTP (Most Valuable Team Player) is the person who can sustain any averment without any problem through his these little deeds of kindness.
