Reaching out to HR Professionals
I have never gone through a real-life interview so I am always a bit confused about how to perform in an interview But, thanks to Amal Academy and its team for providing us a marvelous, career developing, Interview guiding and informative topic like PASSENGER. At the completion of PASSENGER course, we were divided into 7 equal groups and were assigned to Interview an “Interviewer”.

I was amused that it was going to be a very great opportunity for us to practically see and learn from interviewers and HR professionals about recruitment process and how they usually hire people and how they judge that this person is a best fit according to job description. We were assigned to ask question majorly about “Being Equipped and Real “.
Our team mates included Muhammad Jamal (Group Leader), Kinza Kamal, Muhammad Shahzaib, Umme Rukaya and Syed Zafar Ali Shah.

Firstly, we held a meeting of our group on Tuesday 28 August 2018, and brainstormed a number of questions to ask. We prepared a questionnaire and divided questions to each so that everyone could take part in activity.
On Wednesday, we went to meet HR Professional.
Our destination was Mrs Asma Saddique, HR Manager of CMH Medical College Lahore . She had an experience of 8 years in HR and panel interviews and she considers that the panel interviews are very effective and best way to check, analyze and dig into the personality of interviewee.
She gave us 30 mins of her busy schedule but they were worthwhile.
According to her,
She analyzes a person on following points,
· Technical Learning
· Communication +Personality
· Basic Learning
· Body language
· Voice tone
She also said that a candidate while giving an interview must be
· Clear
· Flawless
· Serious & Passionate
· Interested
· Equipped with documents
One of the most important things she emphasized is “Honesty”, if a person is not honest in an interview and he thinks he is smart enough to show dishonesty, then after sometime his reality comes in front of everyone and eventually not only he is fired from job but his years of reputation is harmed

Moreover, she guided us that we must bring a hard copy of our CV and Cover letter in interview as it makes a good impression on HR Managers.
She also guided us about the dressing techniques which matches with Amal’s way of professional dressing. Overall meeting with this HR Professional has broaden our horizon towards recruitment and has given us the opportunity to meet and learn things about recruitment. We had a long questioner for her but due to shortage of time she could only focus on a few of them.

Takeaways:
We should be real in interview and must be fully equipped when ever we are in interview. Moreover, we must come with complete preparation about company and also our field of interest. Our tone and dressing also matters so we should focus on it. One of the main thing is we must be able to clearly show our recruiter that we are really passionate about job and company. Applying these things and making yourself confident in front of recruiter leads you towards getting hired.
