Living in the era of global warming and shortage of natural resources. With the continuous rising population many people are facing fuel shortages for heat purposes. Especially in the areas where natural gas is not available. While many others are facing load shedding and paucity of natural gas. So, they found the woods an easy alternate for burning purpose. Burning woods create a day by day increasing environmental threat. It causes deforestation and air pollution.
The problem is natural and systematic. It is hard to avoid. As people in houses and industry needs fire/heat at any cost. There are also no reliable alternatives available locally. They need any substitute for the natural gas to meet their daily heat requirements in home and industry.
There are substitutes available in the foam of renewable energy. By using clean energy sources, they can fulfill their need and save the cost. One of those are bio rods. They are made with the animal manure / cow waste.
We are starting project in Hyderabad near Cattle colony. Raw material will be obtained from the cattle farms over there. Many of them are ready to give it for free if we bear the labor and transportation costs.
The raw material will be processed in a machine that is simply designed and developed locally. It will be operated on electricity. Three daily wager employees will be enough for whole process. All the setups will cost around one hundred thousand.
Our product is cost efficient then wood. It will be more feasible for the buyers. Not only in cost but also in performance and handling. The readymade product is ordered in the first phase.

Making experiments of product with different substitute and in different circumstances. Then the meetings will be arranged from the potential buyers.

Timeline:

Alhamdullilah! We achieved progress target in the first month. We are done with Idea thinking its research and arranging the product in tangible form. Going experiments will take almost 3 days. After that in the first week we are going to market the product on social media platforms. For creating awareness and identifying the potential buyers then the meeting will also be arranged with the prospects.

Currently the product is available in some areas of Punjab and we will motivate and encourage people to buy and use the bio rods instead of wood. Once we attain single mass buyer for the product we are going to install our own plant and start production by our own.

Work division:

I as the team lead is coordinating and executing the whole project. I am managing the arrangements of necessary resources on time. Laraib Usman is assisting me in the project effectively. She helps me in coordinating with the group and also in the project research. Miss moazma and tanzela are going to write a content for product description and also handling the social media platforms for the purpose of creating social awareness and product. The remaining two members abubakar and Rizwan will be meeting the people in rural areas and other large scale potential customers. Mr. Dilawar aslam is working on processing plant development, learning its dynamics and making the feasibility of installing it on our own. I am also going to meet with some factory runners who are burning wood in massive quantity.

Conclusion:
There comes certain challenges in start of any unique idea. We are hopeful about the success of idea. Its impact will be measured in long term by calculating the number of houses and factories who are shifted to bio rods from the woods. We will also calculate the weight of our monthly production. Then we will assume how much we are successful in saving the woods and change the trend in community.
