The Interested Challenge!
Though I am learning bewildering things every now and then, the process of learning is never ending. We being human every moment going through a challenge and I believe sometimes consciously and at-times unconsciously we are fighting to win, this tendency of self-awareness may vary from person to person.
Learning at #Amal_academy is an immunity, the way of teaching is not only strengthens the fresh graduates but also providing them a platform where they are allow to share their views, this is how they are helping people to gain confidence and self-esteem.
Recently I have been given a challenge called ‘The Interested Challenge’ while performing this activity I have to keep this as a secret in mind.
So, the challenge is to explore people around you by asking questions about themselves and talk less about myself. Everyone like to talk and share view, interest, life goals, sad and sometimes exciting things about ourselves, what If we are listeners ?
By applying this method I found that people are same tendency to talk about themselves as I use to have, they are interestingly talking about themselves and after sharing their views they are more personalize with myself and not only this they are trying to find the congruence in my thinking with their thoughts.
Making friends, and creating an affiliation with human beings are one of the initial needs, according to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, belongingness is the third basic need.
When we listen to people, we show interest and passion in them; the takeaways are: listen by looking into people’s eyes, a smiling face is a good idea, do not interrupt, let people finish first and then speak this how we can gain a friend and attention. Being interested is more effective than be interesting!
