In Person Drop

Amazing, Thanks Amal Team for this super activity, a very good , informative and responsive activity which i did for an in person drop. Although this activity was little bit difficult and i faced many difficulties for this but i did my best for this informative activity.

Firstly i did research on the company very well and now about the company vision , mission, board of directors , company culture their hiring criteria their policies , share rates and annual report also. After this i searched job description for which post i was interested as Assistant Manager in PTCL and read the JD carefully and customized the resume and cover letter according to the job description. Then i went to the OSS Barkat Market Lahore for more information about HR manager and the Office. Unfortunately the Assistant Manager of OSS was an Amal Alumni , he was very happy when i told him about this activity and he encouraged me a lot then he told me about the HR Manager name , Email ID and Head Office address and about the post Assistant Manager.After this i sent my resume and cover letter to the HR and the next day i went to the Head office which is situated at CTH Building Mayo Hospital Road Lahore. I went to the office where i asked from one employee about the HR Office he told me the HR office i went to the office where HR Manager Usman Nasir was busy some meeting i wait for him after some time when he was free i went to the office and introduce myself and greet him then i deliver my elevator pitch he was very impressed and then he said that you are most welcome in our organization but for this post you should pass an NTS test then we hired the candidates according to our criteria so firstly you should apply for this when the vacancies will be open. I tanked him for his precious time and also get business card from him and sent him thank you Email for his time.

Although this was my first in person drop so i was little bit confused and i felt a idid some mistakes but i will overcome these mistakes next time and from this activity i learned a lot about and other can also leaned from this activity that what is the importance of in person drop .
