Eat that Frog with a Pomodoro : controlling the gratification monkey

Doing something without reward is the most difficult thing to do. Our daily routine as well as special activities revolve around the outcome, reward or the end result. We perform a lot of action to achieve something either material or spiritual one. I used to give myself a reward whenever I complete something in time. I used to have a good meal after doing my exercise or listen to melodious songs when I complete my academic activities.
Yesterday I decided to do pomodoro challenge. In this challenge I needed to set a timer of 25min and kept on completing my online course without any pause or distraction. I completed the first round and took a 2–3min break to ease myself. I revised the timer again and completed the online course. I took a break of 30 min a listened to songs.
It was an excellent experience for me. The sense of achievement along with reward put in a state of relaxation and easiness. I did not divert my attention anywhere else during the activity as I was going to have a very relaxing time after the completion of the course.
I would suggest everyone to reward themselves after doing something important as it will enhance the level of commitment and focus during the work. Distraction will be minimal as you will have a very relaxing time after the activity and you will feel lighter.
