POMODORO TECHNIQUE
The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method developed by Francesco Cirillo in the late 1980s. The technique uses a timer to break down work into intervals, traditionally 25 minutes in length, separated by short breaks. These intervals are named pomodoros, the plural in English of the Italian word pomodoro (tomato), after the tomato-shaped kitchen timer that Cirillo used as a university student.
Principals:
There are six steps in the technique:
- Decide on the task to be done.
- Set the pomodoro timer traditionally to 25 minutes.
- Work on the task until the timer rings.
- After the timer rings put a checkmark on a piece of paper.
- If you have fewer than four checkmarks, take a short break 3–5 minutes, then go to step 2.
- After four pomodoros, take a longer break 15–30 minutes, reset your checkmark count to zero, then go to step 1.

This technique is very useful for all of us to manage the time and give full attention on our task with passion.
I adopt this technique many time specially when i was assigned some ery assignment related to course work ,during examples and office work. But before this i don’t know about the name of this technique. On the day of examination before starting the exams i got up early in the morning and went to that place where no one there. Then i took a paper and wrote then the whole syllabus and divided them according to the time and start studying. After every 30- 35 minutes i took a break for 10 minutes and then start reading.During this time I kept my cell phone faraway to myself and also switched off. This helped me and i totally focused on my study.
After that I adopt this technique in my social life first I finished my task through this way and then go for others activities. Time will never wait for someone and time is money. Mostly developed countries like Japan,China ,America and Russia just developed due to time management and hardworking.Pakistan can also become developed country if being a nation we organize our work on time.
