The secret of Happiness: Be Interested in Others
I immensely realized today that how much important thing I have been missing since my childhood. Today I realized why I had not influenced most of the people. Today, I got an answer why I am not happy after having all stuff as the happier person could have. Today, I realized how people could live happy and prosperous life even with poverty and how people became self-murderer even with a lot of wealth. Today, I came to know the real meaning of love. First of all, I want to thanks, Amal team who gave me the opportunity to explore myself.
There is only one reason of all the deficiencies which are stated above. The reason is that we are just interested in ourselves. We think just about ourselves. We don’t give importance to others. We don’t respect other’s ideas and emotions. Shortly we became proudly. I realized all these things today because of an act of asking questions to my friends, family members, and relatives about themselves. They became happy when I called them. I listened to different stories like about family matters, business matters, etc. One of my friends told me his success story of a business that how he has become a wealthy after starting his business with only 5 thousand rupees. It motivates me a lot. One of my friends told me about his struggle to getting a job. I also have come to know about the suicide of one of my friends after the fiasco in love. It made me sad that why people didn’t value their life and waste it. One of my cousins told me about his difficulties in getting the education. But, I said to him how he could manage all stuff which resists his studies. Two cousins of mine were searching about universities. They didn’t have guidance. I guide them about universities and their programs. But in the last, all of them thanks me a lot and gave me the bundle of prayers. After this activity, I automatically became happy. I realized my importance.
Moreover, I recently read the book “How to win friends” by Dale Carnegie in which he claimed that every productive and happy person give the importance to others. This quality of being interested in others made them happier and successful. The story of Howard Thurston who was the greatest magician in his time was excellent. In this story, he told that he had the ability to put his personality across the footlights. In addition to that, he had a genuine interest in people. These are two secrets of his success. He used to love the people and their feelings.
Finally, I concluded that if we want to become happy, we must give importance to other’s feelings, ideas, and decisions, and share our fun moment with others. You must remember that if there is only one person in Heaven, it will become worse than Hell for him. So, if you want to be successful, the key is in your hand. Be interested in others genuinely. I tried it. It’s amazing!
