I was a person with scattered dreams, after death of my father I was worried about my family and future that how will I survive. I did not know what should I do? or what I want to be in future. I needed guidance and support to progress. It was last week of September, 2015 when I saw a post on face-book about Amal. I read the whole post and researched about Amal academy. I realize that it is something which I should apply. So filled online application and submitted it. After phone call interview I was shortlisted for second interview, when I went to office and I was surprised by the behavior of Amal team. I was nervous and excited because that was first interview in my life, due to friendly behavior of Amal team interview went well and luckily I got selected for batch 7. On first day I reached five minutes earlier and I was surprised when Mam Sarah greeted me with smile and called my name. I wondered how she can remember my name while I only spent 15 minutes in interview with her. This was something new for me and increased excitement and passion toward Amal.

In first Mam Samar taught us about four principle of progress and saw videos about Edhi Sahab and inspired me a lot to spend a life of purpose instead of wasting it. So started thinking about my purpose of life. I came to know that I feel satisfaction and happiness when I help others in solving their problems. I feel good serving humanity. As Jacqueline Novogratz says

Your job is not to be perfect, Your job is to be human.

I learned at Amal that how I can make positive impact on life of others. By humility, empathy, kindness and helping others we can make positive impact on daily life. So this is my life purpose, helping people to maximum extent I can do and taking part to make this world a better place. Robert Kennedy says

Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total; of all those acts will be written the history of this generation.

We must do our part to make this world a better place. by starting small like showing someone right path, offering for a ride, giving a good advice to someone etc we can make a positive impact.
