Imagine you are living in a world full of peace, harmony, and healthy co-existence, where the mind finds the comfort it craves for, and the soul enjoys its gentle charm. Healing the body and soul is a dream shared by all humans. Here, I want to reveal an exciting fact: silence also has its own sound, which often goes unnoticed. Seems strange? Let me explain.

Sound is generally categorized into two types, external sound the sound of the outer world, and other is internal the sound inside our body like the sound of the heartbeat. In our fast-paced lives, it’s difficult to listen to the sound of silence within our bodies and minds.

The sound of silence holds profound benefits for our overall well-being, nurturing our soul, body, and mental health. Join me on this journey to discover the charming realm of “Sound of Silence” and explore how it can be a source of balm for the restless mind and body, proven by an exciting research study recently conducted in India. [1]

Understand the Sound of Silence:

As we all know that while listening to our favorite music our mind gets calm. Then, why do we feel the same as music is also a sound, it’s the sound that makes the difference not the silence in respect of mediation practice because silence also does have its sound especially the sound of silence within our mind. Seem weird? I had the same approach. Let’s find out how this creates true magic.

Mediation in terms of the “Sound of Silence” within:

Why do we do meditation? In my view, it is the practice to get out of past worries, future anxieties and enjoy the present moment to lead a fulfilling life through a specific activity.

Research findings reveal that meditation profoundly impacts physical, emotional, and mental health, making it popular and adopted by millions.

However, many are unaware of this magical path to well-being. Our aim is to help those who are still battling the harshness of life to the realm of peace, happiness, and harmony.

Numerous studies confirm the efficacy of mediation in managing anxiety and depression.

An analysis by the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) in 2014 confirms the prominence of meditation in addressing the harmful effects of depression. [2]

Recognizing the significance of mediation, it has been observed that many people avoid mediation due to finding it boring. Here I will introduce a new and engaging method (“Sound of Silence”) within you, aiming to make it appealing for everyone to reap its immediate benefits. Among the numerous mediation methods, 99 percent are considered boring, leaving 1 percent interesting to practice.

For Example, during breathing meditation, we become aware of the sensations of our breath, bringing our mind to the present moment and inducing relaxation, creating a calm mood.

Likewise, we experience relaxation when we pay attention to our inner sound, which is referred to as the “sound of silence”. This sound has no discernible source or origin and is not meant to cease.

The purpose of observing the inner sound is to reach a state of complete stillness, resulting in a free and relaxed mind.

Similarly, when we start observing the sound within ourselves, our thoughts come into our control (Mindfulness) and can’t bother us.

This is a marvelous and effective way of mediation and worked brilliantly as I have tried it myself and second by thousands in a research study carried out on this method, written down in this article.[1]

Let me help you find the sound of silence within you. I want you to be in a comfortable position, and keep your head straight in a silent and disturbance-free place; now put ear plugs or your finger over your ears and you will notice unknown sounds arise from within. This is the sound of your inner silence and it serves as the source of relaxing the mind like breathing in breathing mediation, with time these inner sounds will start to disappear and a stage will come when there is no sound and no thoughts. This is the point where the real magic begins. Practice this technique for a minimum of twenty minutes and share your experience in the comment section.

Listening to the sound of silence within has a profound impact on the overall well-being of our body and soul by eliminating the feeling of getting bored, dullness, and anger to name a few.

Research Findings to Support the Impact of Listening to Sound of Silence within:

In this regard recently a research study has been conducted by Sandeep Maheshwari one of India’s renowned Entrepreneur and public speaker, who inspire the lives of countless people from all walks of life through his free seminars. The source of the research study can be found at the end of this article. [1]
