Most people who were raging about this in the youtube comments did not even understand the whole issue. You can see many comments just telling people that they would be preventing reaction videos all together etc. which isn’t even possible. Furthermore people did not seem to even understand what trademark is (making very much comments as if it was patent that they were filing for).

I think 95% of the people raging just went full retard without any thought about the issue.
