Crazy Decisions — Joining & Leaving Flipkart!

Good luck Mekin. There are many who face this mid-life crisis but very few are able to take steps in the direction that their hearts want to go. Before I plunged out of my comfort zone, I had a lengthy discussion with my wife and she supported me all the way. As you indicated, family should remain financially secure. After initial struggle, now am on my own trying to deliver value as much as I can.
There are many in my circle who wanted to do something for the education in India. They could not sustain the initial momentum due to various reasons including the hidden agenda to make money. My assessment of the situation is, you cannot make money if you really care to improve education. However, many make huge sums because for them education is business. Hope you will avoid all these traps. Good Luck
