Curiosity is the better part of judgmentalism. Curiosity is about open-mindedness, a mindset that refuses to judge as a default response. A curious person is more interested in asking questions than finding answers.
Nobody behaves uniformly throughout life. If somebody is rude to us we tend to judge her by this single incident.
When we judge others, we are also being judged others. The clash of human errors compounds the fragility of human relationships.
To escape the judgmentalism trap, we can adopt what Nicholas Nassim Taleb calls the viva negativa approach- do not do unto others what you would not like them do unto you.
