I am disappointed with the preferences of Medium readers. For instance, this post talks about cultural differences which has great relevance in today’s fractured world. A story that discusses a serious issue should have garnered hundreds of views.

There will be less animosity between cultures if people stopped judging each other. We must never think of cultural supremacy or cultural uniformity.TcULTUREhis brings me to issue of immigration.

I am of the view that those who come to the West must respect the local culture. Immigrants to the West should not assume notions of cultural superiority.Try to integrate as much as possible without sacrificing your core values. What you practise within the four walls of your home is your business. But once you appear in the public space, you must respect the values of the native culture.
